The Holy Spirit speaks of our becoming one with Christ:
Jesus My Love
Sweetness to my lips are your words, as honey.
Tender and gentle, as a lover in the night.
I wait for you to speak a word
and anticipate your voice, your sound, your touch, your light.
As a young bride awaits her groom
I prepare to be loved by you.
How shall I dress and what will you teach me
when we commune and you come in to reach me?
Oh but for a moment together,
an escape from the world and storms I weather.
Come Lord Jesus and touch my heart.
Speak a word from within and never depart.
Be my Lord, my King, my all.
Lead me, be my home and rock, lest I fall.
Stay a while, make me smile
and forever be my answer in every trial.
Only you are my forever love,
Sent by our Father from above.
Only you could save the world,
only by you – God’s plan is unfurled.
Come my Christ, make me whole.
Wash me clean; I surrender all control.
Mold me, stretch me, help me mature,
for every ill you are my cure.
Eternal love in you I found,
my hope and promise ’til the trumpets sound.
So, lead me now I pray, today and forever,
by your loving presence in every endeavor.

A Word of Encouragement
Oh the Love of Jesus Christ our Lord! What a friend we have in Jesus Christ, what joy to know him and hear his voice. Every opportunity to be near him and to sit with him is glorious and sweet. Ephesians 4:20 and 21 speak of hearing and being taught by our Lord. We are called to receive him as our personal Lord, our Savior, the Head of the Body, our intercessor, mediator, redeemer, and eternal King of Kings! What a privilege to be in Christ and for him to abide in us. As we spend time listening for his voice, following his lead, and receiving his love, we are establishing our forever relationship in our Savior’s love. What a glorious Lord we have! Let’s spend some time today showing him our love!
