God speaks prophecy to prepare us to weather the storms:

Storm Trials

What will you do
When the storms roll in?
When the winds howl and the lightning strikes
the lovers of sin?

Will you stand firm,
And wait it out?
Will you celebrate
and sing and shout!?

Some will say, “the Lord has visited us,
And we are free!
Some will pay for all their sins,
And be cast into the sea!

The storms are a test,
A trial of character you see.
A time of reflection and a measure
Of whether or not you are in Me.

Who knows My ways, My thoughts and plans?
Who reads My words and understands?
Is it you and are you ready?
Have you prepared your heart, are you standing steady?

Be in Me now and I’ll show you how
To weather every storm.
For plagues and wars are at your doors,
And chaos will soon be the norm.

Do not deny My warnings, nor be distracted.
Soon you’ll be thankful you heard and acted!
Prepare your hearts and homes for the storms ahead.
Be Mighty warriors now! Raise the dead!

Proverbs 10:25 NLT When the storms of life come, the wicked are whirled away, but the godly have a lasting foundation.

Isaiah 41:16 LSB You will winnow them, and the wind will carry them away, And the storm will scatter them; But you will rejoice in Yahweh; You will boast in the Holy One of Israel.

John 17:23 NKJV “I in them, and You in Me; that they may be made perfect in one, and that the world may know that You have sent Me, and have loved them as You have loved Me.

Psalm 26:2 NKJV Examine me, O LORD, and prove me;
Try my mind and my heart.

Romans 12:2 NKJV And do not be conformed to this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind, that you may prove (dokimazō = test, prove, examine, scrutinize, approve) what is that good and acceptable and perfect will of God.

Ephesians 6:11-13 NKJV Put on the whole armor of God, that you may be able to stand against the wiles of the devil.

12 For we do not wrestle against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this age, against spiritual hosts of wickedness in the heavenly places.

13 Therefore take up the whole armor of God, that you may be able to withstand in the evil day, and having done all, to stand.

A Word of Encouragement

What a great prophetic poem about the storm. Another one that He is using to communicate good news about a new level of freedom and healing coming. God is reminding us to get our armour on, and prepare our hearts and homes for a big storm! It’s coming and He wants us ready. He even gave us the key to overcome every storm: “Be in Me and I’ll show you how”. We are able to read God’s word, pray, talk and listen to God whenever we desire, and to be intimately close to our Father God in a real relationship. He reveals to us that these coming storms are a trial of our character to reveal just how close we are to Him. Let’s get our hearts and homes ready, so we can STAND in the evil day!

We welcome you to come together Every Sunday Afternoon, doors open 1:30 for coffee & fellowship. At 2:00 pm we‘ll begin our Worship, Prayer & Bible Fellowship – followed by a Family Style Meal. We’ll unify in worship songs, praise, prayer, teaching of the scriptures, communion, ministering, and manifestations of the spirit. Our weekday, morning Bible Study is every Wednesday at 10:00 am! Doors open at 9:30  to get a tea or coffee and enjoy great fellowship with the saints. Then we’ll begin in praise, worship and prayer, receive communion, hear from God, and gather for an interactive study of the scriptures with snacks at the table. Come celebrate our lives in Him together!
