Jesus Christ speaks a poem calling the lost to hear:
A PRICE TOO STEEP!
I charge thee this day to do and obey
only what I speak in your ear.
Be ready and willing to do all I’m asking
and stand against evil and fear.
And now comes a new day, you’ll celebrate and you’ll say,
come rescue us, Lord, we are waiting!
But short will be my delay, and to the remnant I will say
awake and be healed, and follow every word I am stating.
What happened, they’ll say as they stare in dismay,
looking at the utter destruction.
How did you survive? And come through alive
when the others were doomed to perdition.
Then light will break forth, and the dawning will come,
a day of rejoicing and joy.
And you who are weary, will shout and be cheery,
For the night has passed – and my powers deployed.
Last call! I have shouted and my love I have touted
to try to bring you relief.
For the evil are waiting, your souls anticipating
to arrive – with a price paid to steep!
Today’s Written Word
Ephesians 6:10-13 BBE Finally, my brethren, be strong in the Lord, and in the power of his might.
Put on the whole armour of God, that ye may be able to stand against the wiles of the devil.
For we wrestle not against flesh and blood, but against principalities,
against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this world, against spiritual wickedness in high places.
Wherefore take unto you the whole armour of God, that ye may be able to withstand in the evil day, and having done all, to stand.
I Peter 1:18-20 NLT For you know that God paid a ransom to save you from the empty life you inherited from your ancestors. And the ransom he paid was not mere gold or silver.
19It was the precious blood of Christ, the sinless, spotless Lamb of God. 20God chose him as your ransom long before the world began, but he has now revealed him to you in these last days.
A Word of Encouragement
Our Lord Jesus Christ is calling the remnant and the not yet saved to come to him and to hear and obey. We who are listening will continue to stand against evil and fear. We have heard this message many times in recent months. There is a day of darkness coming and with it the correction and consequences to the disobedient, and for the obedient – rewards for the choices we have made to accept and follow our Lord in joy and rejoicing, or to deny him, and pay an eternal price. The greatest of ransoms was paid by our God when He willingly gave His Son to suffer and die for our sins upon the cross at calvary. All we have done to trespass against the will of God is forgiven in Christ, when we confess Jesus to be our Lord, and believe God raised Him to live eternally. There is no need for anyone we know to pay for their mistakes by being eternally separated from our loving, forgiving God. Let’s share the good news of salvation today, and help to rescue those who are still lost.

We welcome you to come together Every Sunday Afternoon, doors open 1:30 for coffee & fellowship. At 2:00 pm we‘ll begin our Worship, Prayer & Bible Fellowship – followed by a Family Style Meal. We’ll unify in worship songs, praise, prayer, teaching of the scriptures, communion, ministering, and manifestations of the spirit. Join with us in joyful fellowship with God’s family. Our weekday, morning Bible Study is every Wednesday at 10:00 am! Doors open at 9:30 to get a tea or coffee and enjoy great fellowship with the saints. Then we’ll begin in praise, worship and prayer, receive communion, hear from God, and gather for an interactive study of the scriptures with snacks at the table. Come celebrate our lives in Him together!
