Jesus Christ speaks prophecy of better days ahead:

Celebration!

Life is not fun when you’re on the run!
Slow down my people and smell the roses.
It’s a hectic life that most of you lead.
Going and rushing to get – moving at top speed.

What do you truly desire?
What do you want in your life?
I assure you it will come from heaven’s gates,
And not from your own strife.

Leave your worries and must haves behind.
Let me help you and quiet your mind.
Be still for a moment and consider each component,
Of your lives and weigh what you find.

Is it good for you to be rushing through
Each day, month or year in a hurry?
Do you cherish each day or look on in dismay,
Knowing all will be gone in a flurry?

Stop running and racing and money chasing.

Look around and praise God for what you’ve got!

Let His love be your portion, without the world’s distortion,

Celebrate and rejoice, for salvation is your eternal lot!

Today’s Written Word

Deuteronomy 4:40 NLT If you obey all the decrees and commands I am giving you today, all will be well with you and your children. I am giving you these instructions so you will enjoy a long life in the land the LORD your God is giving you for all time.”

Luke 10:6 NKJV “And if a Son of peace is there, your peace will rest on it; if not, it will return to you.

Matthew 6:33 CSB “But seek first the kingdom of God and his righteousness, and all these things will be provided for you.

Psalm 37:9 LSB For evildoers will be cut off,
But those who hope for Yahweh, they will inherit the land.

Isaiah 40:31 LSB Yet those who hope in Yahweh will gain new power; They will mount up with wings like eagles; They will run and not get tired; They will walk and not become weary.

I Thessalonians 4:11,12 NKJV that you also aspire to lead a quiet life, to mind your own business, and to work with your own hands, as we commanded you, 12that you may walk properly toward those who are outside, and that you may lack nothing.

James 1:19 NKJV So then, my beloved brethren, let every man be swift to hear, slow to speak, slow to wrath;

Young man taking time to praise God.

A Word of Encouragement

Can you remember anyone you know saying “I don’t really have anything to do, or life is just going so slowly”? No! We are all so busy, doing what we feel we are needing to get done. Several years ago the Father asked me to start giving Him more time in prayer, listening to what He wanted to say, and to strip off some time wasters I was spending time on each day. It has been a process of changing my schedule, changing my habits, and changing my heart to become more obedient. It has been really difficult at times, but incredibly rewarding. This morning He asked again, “I need more of your time for the next two weeks, more prayer for your country, family, and my church.” I have learned over the past years that what I feel is important is usually not of the same priority to God. He loves each of us, and places a VERY high value on our love and dedication to Him and His people. Let’s love God and love our neighbor as ourselves, and not be too busy for Him 🙂
