Today’s Living Word: Sunday – What God Would and Would Not Do

4–6 minutes

Prophecy received 04-17-26

Released 04-26-26, Prophecy #919

A young woman looking thoughtfully, thinking about what God will do.

God speaks a prophetic poem about what He is doing to help us:

What God Would and Would Not Do

What would I do to bless you? Or what wouldn’t I do?
I wouldn’t put a barrier up, or try to hedge you in.
I wouldn’t send you down a crooked course.
No! I am helping you to win!

Take heart My lovely children
Expect My help and leading.
Walk forward in My peace and confidence,
As My light and love you’re seeding.

The distance that you travel,
Along life’s winding path
Is never meant to harm you
For I’ve saved you from the wrath!

No, you’ve been called to victory.
Your course is sure and true in Me.
The ones you touch, I’ve loved so much
Fear not, but deliver them in the clutch!

Racing and spinning is not of Me!
Guessing and trying are not living free!
My ways are high ways, above the world’s ways!
Get on My path and escape the wrath of these days!

Your futures are bright when you and I are tight.
Let go of the things that distract you from My light!
Beware of those who don’t love you, the ones who shove you
Away from all I am doing above you!

Hang on now! Know what I would and would NOT do!
For I love you, Adonai

God’s highway is above the world’s way!

Today’s Written Word

II Chronicles 7:14 NKJV if My people who are called by My name will humble themselves, and pray and seek My face, and turn from their wicked ways, then I will hear from heaven, and will forgive their sin and heal their land.

Jonah 3:4-10 Amplified Classic edition

And Jonah began to enter the city on the first day’s walk. Then he cried out and said, “Yet forty days, and Nineveh shall be overthrown!”So the people of Nineveh believed in God and proclaimed a fast and put on sackcloth [in penitent mourning], from the greatest of them even to the least of them.

For word came to the king of Nineveh [of all that had happened to Jonah, and his terrifying message from God], and he arose from his throne and he laid his robe aside, covered himself with sackcloth, and sat in ashes.

And he made proclamation and published through Nineveh, By the decree of the king and his nobles: Let neither man nor beast, herd nor flock, taste anything; let them not feed nor drink water.

But let man and beast be covered with sackcloth and let them cry mightily to God. Yes, let every one turn from his evil way and from the violence that is in his hands.

Who can tell, God may turn and revoke His sentence against us [when we have met His terms], and turn away from His fierce anger so that we perish not.

10 And God saw their works, that they turned from their evil way; and God revoked His [sentence of] evil that He had said that He would do to them and He did not do it [for He was comforted and eased concerning them].

The road to victory is God’s way.

A Word of Encouragement

Thoughout time many humans have atributed evil to God that He did not do, and have given people the credit for what only God could have done. God is calling us to KNOW HIM, and to know what He WOULD and WOULD NOT DO. The people of Nineveh were warned by Jonah that they had 40 days before the judgment of God fell, and when they fasted, God changed their futures and withheld the consequences of their evil ways. We are called today to repent of our wickedness and to turn to God for forgiveness through the suffering and sacrifice of our Lord Jesus Christ. He paid for our sins by suffering and shedding his own blood for us. All are welcome, and all who turn to God and ask in humility will be forgiven! God’s ways are highways of peace and plenty, joy and love. Let’s get moving forward with Him and rejoice for all eternity!

Life’s winding path is beautiful, not filled with wrath.
