Jesus Christ speaks a prophecy to all who are overly stressed:

Time For a Vacation!

Do you need a break from all the news and chaos?
Has the volume and frequency become too loud,
like your boss?
Who will stop the noise and rhetoric
of all who promote fear and try to make it stick?

You will!

Take a vacation, from all the noise and argumentation
that is flooding across your screens.
Turn them off and find a new way
to get your news by my revelation and means.

I will show you the way to peaceful shores
and late morning snores –
like you haven’t enjoyed in years.
This is my new day to relieve ALL YOUR FEARS!

Let’s try a new way to start your day
In peace and joyful expectation.
Sit with me awhile and let me make you smile
with my glorious presence and elation!

Stop seeking their voice and turn to me
I will feed you words of light and hope.
We can meditate on God’s word and avoid the racing herd
who look at leaders in the world, who did or did not cope.

Stand still in peace and your heart will release
All stress to adjust to a slower pace.
Let the world roll by, pause without blinking an eye,
Your mind will become still without seeking to race.

Reclaim our time together in sunshine or stormy weather
And refuse to scroll and partake.
Say no to the pressure and take a refresher
By reclaiming our time – your mental health is at stake!

Let’s change the way you respond, by refusing to go along
With the narratives of news and education.
Step out and be bold, obey what God told
YOU to do – and take a media vacation!

Today’s Written Word

Philippians 4:4-9 NLT ⁴Always be full of joy in the Lord. I say it again—rejoice! ⁵Let everyone see that you are considerate in all you do. Remember, the Lord is coming soon.

⁶Don’t worry about anything; instead, pray about everything. Tell God what you need, and thank him for all he has done. ⁷Then you will experience God’s peace, which exceeds anything we can understand. His peace will guard your hearts and minds as you live in Christ Jesus.

⁸And now, dear brothers and sisters, one final thing. Fix your thoughts on what is true, and honorable, and right, and pure, and lovely, and admirable. Think about things that are excellent and worthy of praise. ⁹Keep putting into practice all you learned and received from me—everything you heard from me and saw me doing. Then the God of peace will be with you.

Colossians 3:14-16 NLT Above all, clothe yourselves with love, which binds us all together in perfect harmony.

¹⁵And let the peace that comes from Christ rule in your hearts. For as members of one body you are called to live in peace. And always be thankful.

¹⁶Let the message about Christ, in all its richness, fill your lives. Teach and counsel each other with all the wisdom he gives. Sing psalms and hymns and spiritual songs to God with thankful hearts.

A Word of Encouragement

Taking a media vacation? I’m IN! We live in a world that has many ways to take in information and our minds are often under assault from so many avenues, that it is difficult to sort it all out. We are invited daily to watch TV news or shows that are often VERY slanted by the media to promote the enemy’s kingdom and not the truth of God’s Kingdom or the signs and miracles He did today. We can choose to turn off the screens and boxes that tell the enemy’s “vision” of what is or what will be, and decide instead to read the holy scriptures, listen to God’s voice and pray for His leading, or just turn on some inspiring music that soothes our soul. God’s will is peace, strength, faith, love, joy and resounding rejoicing in all He has promised us in Jesus Christ our Lord. Today is a great day to rest in Him and to take a media vacation!

Upcoming Meetings/Check The Calendar

We welcome you to come together Every Sunday Afternoon, doors open 1:30 for coffee & fellowship. At 2:00 pm we‘ll begin ourBible Fellowship & Worship Services – followed by a Family Style Meal. We’ll unify in worship songs, praise, prayer, teaching of the scriptures, communion, ministering, and manifestations of the spirit. Join with us in joyful fellowship with God’s family. See the online calendar for teaching topics and meal details.

Our morning Bible Study has moved to Wednesdays at 10:00 am starting February 4th! We will be meeting every Wednesday in February. Doors open at 9:30  to get a coffee and enjoy great fellowship with the saints. Then we’ll begin in praise, worship and prayer, and receive communion, followed by an interactive study of the scriptures with snacks at the table.
