God speaks of the results of our good choices:

Rewards!

Hear me now, listen and bow,
turn to see, obey and be free.
No one knows how a flower grows.
None of you designed what I’ve made to be mined.

None have planted the seeds I’ve granted
that will grow eternally.
My ways are higher,
like My angel messengers of fire.

My skies are vast. My sun will shadows cast
that stretch across the land.
Buy up your time, by choosing to be Mine.
Waste not a single minute.

Come unto my throne, where your face is shown
to be lightened, reflecting Me in it.
For the time has come, for those who’ve run
to do evil, to be punished.

I’d called them back to stop their attack,
when I proclaimed My Son’s work was finished.
But they chose the reward of the world not the sword
of the spirit, and now their inheritance is diminished.

Not so for those who are Mine, for you’ve taken the time
to adhere to the words I have spoken.
Now your blessings I’ll pour out from the good works you did without doubt, and My wealth I will give as a token.

Today’s Written Word

Ephesians 1:11-18 NKJV

¹¹ In Him also we have obtained an inheritance, being predestined according to the purpose of Him who works all things according to the counsel of His will, ¹² that we who first trusted in Christ should be to the praise of His glory.

¹³ In Him you also trusted, after you heard the word of truth, the gospel of your salvation; in whom also, having believed, you were sealed with the Holy Spirit of promise, ¹⁴who is the guarantee of our inheritance until the redemption of the purchased possession, to the praise of His glory.

¹⁵ Therefore I also, after I heard of your faith in the Lord Jesus and your love for all the saints, ¹⁶ do not cease to give thanks for you, making mention of you in my prayers: ¹⁷ that the God of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of glory, may give to you the spirit of wisdom and revelation in the knowledge of Him,

¹⁸ the eyes of your understanding being enlightened; that you may know what is the hope of His calling, what are the riches of the glory of His inheritance in the saints,

A Word of Encouragement

God is calling us to a higher walk of obedience and joy so He can pour out the blessings He has stored up for us, blessings that will require all of eternity to shower upon His beloved family. What we do with our time in this life is very much dependent on our choice to be rewarded by God, or by the world. The sword of the spirit is the word of God. Some of the blessings that come from living by God’s word are peace, safety, prosperity, acceptance, love, affirmation, adventure, wisdom, understanding, joy and so many more. The quicker we turn to Him and obey His instructions, the sooner our rewards begin to manifest in our lives. He also promises an inheritance is laid up for us in heaven, so we are blessed in this life and in the next. Praise God for His goodness, READ BELOW!

Victories and Blessings

We heard from a Sister in Christ about a big victory in getting a well drilled to water her herd of cattle! She called for an estimate by a neighbor who drills wells. He quoted her a price of $8000 for a 300 foot deep well. She declined and responded that the water table was very high, and that he would not need to drill nearly that deep. Ok, he said, how about $6000 to go 200 ft. deep? No, still too much. He then agreed that He would take a look at the site and see what he could do. A little while later, he called to say he was on the ranch and the well was complete! What?! She was surprised! He said he had the equiptment there and just gave it a try, and at 17 feet he hit water! It came gushing out at 32 gallons per minute, clean and sweet, pure water! He then offered to trade the service for some beef, and she happily agreed! These are days of blessings, recompense, freedom and increase. The number 17 carries a biblical meaning of VICTORY, overcoming, restoration and in some reference books – “cow”! You just can’t make this up. God is perfect and always provides!
