Thursday – Choices and Rewards!

God speaks prophecy about living a holy life:

Holiness is a goal and a sign of those in My family. Those who truly walk with Me are holy in their words and deeds. The lives you live reveal your connection and obedience to Me and My words. Are your thoughts and words My thoughts and words? Do you rest and rely upon My Spirit to lead and guide you? What tempts you to stray from a pure heart of love and peace? Are the things of the world drawing you away, or do cares and burdens dominate your thoughts? Let Me take them from you and bring you peace My children. For peace and love I give unto you.

Many worldly desires lead to sin. Caring for the things of the world- bigger, newer, faster, shinier things, can cost you far more than money. Does the value of a high position in your church or government require you to trade in time with your spouse and family? What about your job, education and the acceptance of those around you? Are you working and living to please others or Me – your God? How are the ones in your closest relationships? Are they in true relationship and daily connection with Me? Are you? Can you hear Me calling you home!?

The purpose of the earth is to support mankind. The purpose of mankind is to love Me, your God and Creator. The purpose for which I sent My son was to deliver all from sin and to reestablish our open and full relationship in spirit and truth. All that hinders that, is from those serving the darkness. Satan has devised many plans and schemes to separate mankind from Me and My love. Say no to his tricks and false treats. Be wary of the temptations he offers that look enticing on the surface, but cost far more than you are willing to sacrifice for eternity. Be warned My people. The choices you make while living on this earth will lay the foundation for our eternal relationship, and either build or steal your eternal inheritance. Choose holiness, righteousness, forgiveness, love and joy in all you do. Live for Me and in Me today!

Today’s Written Word:

John 17: 17-26 NLT

¹⁷ Make them holy by your truth; teach them your word, which is truth. ¹⁸ Just as you sent me into the world, I am sending them into the world. ¹⁹ And I give myself as a holy sacrifice for them so they can be made holy by your truth.

²⁰ “I am praying not only for these disciples but also for all who will ever believe in me through their message. ²¹ I pray that they will all be one, just as you and I are one—as you are in me, Father, and I am in you. And may they be in us so that the world will believe you sent me.

²² “I have given them the glory you gave me, so they may be one as we are one. ²³ I am in them and you are in me. May they experience such perfect unity that the world will know that you sent me and that you love them as much as you love me. ²⁴ Father, I want these whom you have given me to be with me where I am. Then they can see all the glory you gave me because you loved me even before the world began!

²⁵ “O righteous Father, the world doesn’t know you, but I do; and these disciples know you sent me. ²⁶ I have revealed you to them, and I will continue to do so. Then your love for me will be in them, and I will be in them.”

A Word of Encouragement:

Here we go! Out of the world and into a deeper relationship with our God, by Jesus Christ and in the Holy Spirit of truth. It is a calling away from distractions and into a close relationship with God. It takes time and focus to know God and His character, and to become like Him in our character. We are not going to be deeply connected by spending our time chasing the things of the world. If we are building our wealth – true wealth comes only from God. If we are devoted to career or profession, it must be with God’s blessing and in His leading, or it is wasted. We MUST be one in Him in holiness, in our choices, words, actions, how we spend our time and money, and rededicate ourselves to truly living in and for Him. Now is the time! All eternity hangs in the balance. Let’s choose God and His way – Jesus Christ!
