Today’s Living Word: Sunday – Unity

4–7 minutes

Prophecy received on 5-18-25

Jesus Christ speaks of strength in numbers:

Alert!  Get some help when you need it! Yes, my beloved, you all need helpers to refresh and support you in times of distress and need. What happens when there is a disaster? My church rises up and provides whatever is needed to those who are homeless and suffering. You rally the troops and collect food and clothing and even offer shelter. But what if YOU are the one who has lost your home? What if you have no food or no job? Would you call on those in your church family and ask? You should, and you may need to in the next few months.

Altruists:  What I am working in the earth is a shift from selfish distractions to healthy connections. To be in a healthy, well-supplied family is an asset to all who come in. We are the rich kids and our Father has every resource in abundance. He is ready and willing to pour out food and wealth into each of your homes as you pray and seek Him. Generosity will be key to the flow of abundance. Get your faith elevated by giving all you can and we will fill and refill your storehouse. God is the fountain of unlimited abundance.

Alignment:  Wash your hands of worldly standards and selfishness. Live as “all for one and one body of Christ – who is for all.” Do NOT let fear keep your hand clutched tightly to what is in your power to give, but give all you can to those who are in need. If you were struggling a little, would you ask for help? No, and neither will your friends and neighbors. Due to the self-sufficiency ideals of today, most will not speak up until they are desperate. Do not wait until tragedy strikes to develop an attitude of full sharing, but begin today to reach out and connect. Find resources in your circles of friends and family, and lead others to do the same.

Abound:  When a whole community comes together to share resources, they all abound. It’s like a block party. Everyone brings tables and chairs out to the curb and shares their favorite dish or dessert. If a stranger comes in, they are welcomed and well fed because there is plenty. This is the time to practice loving your neighbors as yourselves. Do not wait to gather lists of good and helpful people around you. Begin to build positive connections in your circles and make note of resources and skills they can offer. Stand together as one and defeat fear and lack with love and generosity. Prepare for victory my brethren! We will do it together!

Today’s Written Word:

Ephesians 4:3-6 Endeavouring to keep the unity of the Spirit in the bond of peace. There is one body, and one Spirit, even as ye are called in one hope of your calling; One Lord, one faith, one baptism, One God and Father of all, who is above all, and through all, and in you all.

Ephesians 4:11-13 And he gave some, apostles; and some, prophets; and some, evangelists; and some, pastors and teachers; 12 For the perfecting of the saints, for the work of the ministry, for the edifying of the body of Christ: 13 Till we all come in the unity of the faith, and of the knowledge of the Son of God, unto a perfect man, unto the measure of the stature of the fulness of Christ:

Acts 2:44 And all that believed were together, and had all things common;

Luke 6:38 Give, and it shall be given unto you; good measure, pressed down, and shaken together, and running over, shall men give into your bosom. For with the same measure that ye mete withal it shall be measured to you again.

Proverbs 3:9,10 Honour the LORD with thy substance, and with the firstfruits of all thine increase: 10 So shall thy barns be filled with plenty, and thy presses shall burst out with new wine.

A Word of Encouragement:

What a detailed and encouraging list of directions for the coming days of victory and storms ahead. We have been preparing for God’s provision during the times of disaster and stress on our supply chain for several years. The very minimum we have been encouraged to have ready in our own homes is: clean water for drinking and bathing, lights for times when the power grid is down, non- electric sources of heat – or the means to store electricity or get it from fuel or solar, and food that is easy to prepare and will last for many years. Let’s do our part and be well prepared so we have to give. We can also begin to gather information from our neighbors and make note of skills and resources they can offer our community. We could host a neighborhood barbecue and begin to connect with those nearby. Ask people for their names and phone numbers so you can connect with them in the future. This is also a good time to put contact information for friends and family in writing so they are available in times of need. We can make the preparations fun and enjoy inviting our neighbors to come, bring their food, and celebrate God’s goodness. We will share praise to God for helping us get organized and prepared!
