God, the Creator of the heavens and the earth, speaks to us His warning of future events:

Sounds are powerful. When light and sound come together in harmony, my power is released. White light, heavenly light has power and energy in it. What of heavenly sounds? What are heavenly sounds, you ask? How about the day of Pentecost, when I poured out my spirit for the first time and began your age of grace? I sent a sound from heaven as of a rushing mighty wind. Then came the sound of tongues and the lights of flames of fire over each of my faithful ones who believed to receive my new and powerful way.

Prepare to hear my sound from heaven, clear and loud it will be, a trumpet blast to awaken all to the great and terrible day of your God. Great shall be the joy and celebration of those who know me, for I have announced my coming and visitation. You shall hear a word in your ear in the early dawn to awaken you to this mighty day. Fear and trembling will be the way of those who know me not, but you who are near and have heard my warnings will rejoice!

Lights and sounds will fill your skies. Manifestations of my glory and sovereign power, they will be. Signs and wonders to clear away any confusion about who is in charge of this planet. Swarms of armies will amass their troops – the evil and the good. You, who have set your hearts in alignment with me, will watch my lights and hear my sounds with delight. Fear not the coming display, for it will be dramatic, fantastic and bold.

And why would I do such a thing, you ask? Why, Father, must you be loud and dramatic? To awaken those who are sleeping. They have died while still living in their flesh. Their spirits are resting in early graves, ones meant for the evil ones and not for my children. I must shout and stir the planet to cause alarm bells to go off. Alarms that will shock and surprise many. Unlike your alarms that awaken you to get up, it will be unfamiliar, uncomfortable, and unpleasant. But I have warned you in advance, the alarms are about to sound.

The earth is groaning and heaving up with the sin that men have filled it with. It too is about to let loose in fiery indignation. Prepare to see sights of fire rain down, waters rise up, and clouds turn to darkness the light of day. This will be but for a moment in time. A short and violent time of shock and awe to remind my people that I am a living God. A God who loves you enough to wash away the sins that bind you and your beautiful Earth I have made to feed and house you. Stand firm in faith now and in the love and leading of Christ – he is your way to peace and safety.

Today’s Written Word:

Acts 2:2,3 And suddenly there came a sound (ēchos =loud roar) from heaven as of a rushing mighty wind, and it filled all the house  (oikos = tabernacle, home) where they were sitting.

And there appeared unto them cloven tongues like as of fire, and it sat upon each of them.

Acts 26:18 To open their eyes, and to turn ( epistrepho = to turn to the worship of the true God) them from darkness to light (phos = anyting emitting spiritual light, power, energy, wisdom) and from the power (exousia = exercised authority) of satan unto God, that they may receive forgiveness of sins, and inheritance among them which are sanctified by faith that is in me (Jesus Christ).

Hebrews 2:4 God also bearing them witness, both with signs (sēmeion = a sign or miracle indicating God’s presence and authentication) and wonders (teras = a miracle), and with divers miracles (dynamis = inherent strength, ability, power), and gifts of the Holy Ghost, according to His (God’s)own will.

A Word of Encouragement:

What a word! God’s example of light and sound coming together in harmony is amazing, like it was on Pentecost. Our friend taught about sound frequencies at our Tuesday Bible Study this week. It was very enlightening! She shared about the frequencies of 444 Hz and 528 Hz being peaceful, life-giving frequencies. Unlike 440 Hz which is an irritating one. God has invited us to tune into His heart by putting His word in ours. As we pray, listen, and obey Him in Christ, we will remain peaceful even when the alarms are sounding and the skies are lit up. Praise God for His warning of what is coming soon so we can be well settled in His loving care!
