God speaks to encourage us to prepare for our eternal rewards:

Running after me is easy when your desire is to know me. What builds your desire, my children? As with your children, it is usually a shiny toy or reward to incentivize the investment of your time and efforts. I offer you eternal life in me by my Son, a concept few have taken the time to deeply consider. The alternative is being forever separated from my presence, love, and light. I will not rehearse the devastation that comes from that choice. You may read all about it in my Word. Look at the verses about hades and the pit. It’s there.

My heart toward you is only for good, to see you walk in harmony with me and receive all I have to give in this life and the next. Do you believe in eternity? Have you studied and learned of my promises to you? Get a clearer image in your mind to build your desire. Invest more of your time and energy into knowing what you’re living for, working for, loving and serving for. This is my plan for you: to spend each day of this life enjoying a full and joyful relationship with me, your God. My Son has made a way, and he leads you to my heart. His ways are perfect and he works within your spirit to reveal my will for you.

Ask for our help in moving from where you are to where we have called you. Stop interfering with my plan by your error and your stubbornness and choosing your own way. Humble yourselves to my leading and become vibrant, blessed people without a care in this world. These are days of GREAT change, and the ones who will turn to me with their whole heart will be first in line to manifest the joy and abundance I am sending.

Do not hesitate to ask for all you desire, my beloved! This is my year of jubilee, but only for those in my will. Lean into your spiritual walk with me by feeding your spirit my words. Pour over them with a renewed hunger to eat up every morsel. Strengthen yourself, for the battles ahead will be costly to those unprepared. Stand in my presence and receive all the power, money, resources, and liberty that only I can give in the face of your enemies. Learn my words and build your faith as a great wall of defense against every assault. I am a good, good Father, and I am calling you into my eternal presence, where righteousness and blessings dwell.

Revelation 20:12, 13 And I saw the dead, small and great, stand before God; and the books were opened: and another book was opened, which is the book of life: and the dead were judged out of those things which were written in the books, according to their works. 13 And the sea gave up the dead which were in it; and death and hell delivered up the dead which were in them: and they were judged every man according to their works.

I Corinthians 2:9 But as it is written, Eye hath not seen, nor ear heard, neither have entered into the heart of man, the things which God hath prepared for them that love him.

Matthew 22:37 Jesus said unto him, Thou shalt love the Lord thy God with all thy heart, and with all thy soul, and with  all thy mind.

Joel 2:11 And the LORD shall utter his voice before his army: for his camp is very great: for He is strong that executeth his word: for the day of the LORD is great and very terrible; and who can abide it?

Jeremiah 15:16 Thy words were found, and I did eat them; and THY WORD was unto me the joy and rejoicing of mine heart: for I am called by thy name, O LORD God of hosts.

Revelation 21:6,7 (Read the whole chapter!) And he said unto me, It is done. I am Alpha and Omega, the beginning and the end. I will give unto him that is athirst of the fountain of the water of life freely. 7 He that overcometh shall inherit all things; and I will be his God, and he shall be my son.

A Word of Encouragement:

What a clear message from our heavenly Father. That first paragraph was quite direct. Once we are saved and living in Christ, we can plan to be in the presence of God forever by seeking Him diligently out of a pure and humble heart to know Him and love Him. We are often distracted, as many children are, by what we get out of a relationship. God promises many great rewards up front. Eternal life is a big one, in light of the alternative. But He also reminded us that it is a good idea to get a clear picture of what life will be like when all evil has been destroyed and every day is filled with His goodness, blessings, supply, adventure, belonging, joy, abundance, freedom, health, peace, and mostly with His presence. Revelation 21 is a great place to start reading about our future, but you can do a word study on the phrase “saw heaven”. It’s used 58 times in the scriptures. Lot’s of people have seen visions of heaven, some of current and future events, some of our future with God and our Lord Jesus Christ. God is calling us to strengthen ourselves in our relationship with Him now for the coming battles. He is reminding us that He will supply all we need as we hear and obey.
