Prophecy received on 4-18-25
Jesus Christ gives an invitation to be pioneers of the new:
A New Day
A day like any other day, it will begin in quiet.
The traffic will hum and kids will play.
For the ones who know my voice, you will hear me say,
“A shifting has come.”
What must change in your day-to-day lives?
Change the goal or target of your heart’s desires.
I am seeking your time and devotion my beloved.
Come to me and ask what I have planned for lighting your fires.
And what will come after the “big shaking day?”
The world will not end, but so many norms will be adjusted. When you find that I am the center of your life and will,
then peace will reign, even in those you mistrusted.
Do not be afraid of the many changes heading your way,
but embrace all of the new.
Be the pioneers and trailblazers, the movers and shakers,
like I’ve called you to do.
Toss away what is wasteful in your
ways and schedules and thoughts.
Let the old habits and goals
go away with your sloth.
Stay still for a while and recover your smiles
like a child who has found a new toy.
Look to me to be free from the ways of the world
and receive a new life filled with joy.
Yes, the world will shut down and bring many frowns
to the ones who in mankind have trusted.
But the awake and the few who listened to me and knew
are filled in new skins that will not be busted.
Begin to rebuild; buy and plant a new field,
for the seeds I have given are special.
They’ll go into the ground and soon will be found
bearing fruit from the most simple of vessels.
You are my delight as you stand up and fight
against all the sorrow that binds you.
Go into a new day with a confident new sway,
expecting my love, hope and joy to find you!
Today’s Written Word:
II Cornithians 3:1-18 NIV
Are we beginning to commend ourselves again? Or do we need, like some people, letters of recommendation to you or from you? 2 You yourselves are our letter, written on our hearts, known and read by everyone. 3 You show that you are a letter from Christ, the result of our ministry, written not with ink but with the Spirit of the living God, not on tablets of stone but on tablets of human hearts.
4 Such confidence we have through Christ before God. 5 Not that we are competent in ourselves to claim anything for ourselves, but our competence comes from God. 6 He has made us competent as ministers of a new covenant—not of the letter but of the Spirit; for the letter kills, but the Spirit gives life.
7 Now if the ministry that brought death, which was engraved in letters on stone, came with glory, so that the Israelites could not look steadily at the face of Moses because of its glory, transitory though it was, 8 will not the ministry of the Spirit be even more glorious? 9 If the ministry that brought condemnation was glorious, how much more glorious is the ministry that brings righteousness! 10 For what was glorious has no glory now in comparison with the surpassing glory. 11 And if what was transitory came with glory, how much greater is the glory of that which lasts!
12 Therefore, since we have such a hope, we are very bold. 13 We are not like Moses, who would put a veil over his face to prevent the Israelites from seeing the end of what was passing away. 14 But their minds were made dull, for to this day the same veil remains when the old covenant is read. It has not been removed, because only in Christ is it taken away. 15 Even to this day when Moses is read, a veil covers their hearts. 16 But whenever anyone turns to the Lord, the veil is taken away. 17 Now the Lord is the Spirit, and where the Spirit of the Lord is, there is freedom. 18 And we all, who with unveiled faces contemplate the Lord’s glory, are being transformed into his image with ever-increasing glory, which comes from the Lord, who is the Spirit.
A Word of Encouragement:
For those who are racing out to work, I know this was a long prophecy and a long section of scripture, – but oh what a word from our Lord! We are praying for the new day to come and for the Lord to light up our heart’s desires to be trailblazers and pioneers in this exciting new life he is bringing with all the changes. Yes, it’s a bit unsettling to consider all the drastic adjustments we will need to make, but it will all be done in love, peace and joy. The Lord Jesus Christ is the spirit of prophecy (Rev. 19:10) and he will be leading us into the new, true and abundant life. Let’s get excited for the freedom and joy to come! Praise God for sending our Lord!
