Jesus Christ speaks of wisdom and coming separation:
A Word to the Wise
Wisdom comes in small packages,
often disguised by the ones who are speaking.
I am sending it now to the ones who know how
to listen and heed my voice without freaking.
You who are normal will float above all the turmoil
and breeze into the new on wings of the eagles.
But those who refuse, to hear my good news
will be left picking up scraps like the seagulls.
Oh no! They will shout; I can’t be left out!
I confessed you Lord and believed.
But some took a break, and put their lives at stake.
Depart from me, I will say to the deceived.
This little poem, is a gift to someone
who rested on what others said.
Be wise now my family, take serious the calamity
that floods through your cities and towns.
Evil soon will be flowing, to the depths they are going
away for a long night they are bound.
But you who confess, you made some missteps
will be welcomed back into the fold, where joy and glory resound.
Today’s Written Word:
Proverbs 11:2 NKJV When pride comes, then comes shame;
But with the humble is wisdom.

Matthew 7:22,23 Many will say to me in that day, Lord, Lord, have we not prophesied in thy name? and in thy name have cast out devils? and in thy name done many wonderful works? And then will I profess unto them, I never knew you: depart from me, ye that work iniquity.
Obediah 1:13 Thou shouldest not have entered into the gate of my people in the day of their calamity; yea, thou shouldest not have looked on their affliction in the day of their calamity, nor have laid hands on their substance in the day of their calamity; (calamity=H343, ed – oppression, misfortune, destruction)
Job 28:11 From overflowing floods he hath bound, And the hidden thing bringeth out to light.
A Word of Encouragement:
The Lord highlighted the section in Matthew chapter seven again today. He has pointed that out to us before, noteably in the spring of 2023. We contemplated as a Christian family, how could a saint that is faithful enough to prophesy, cast out devils, and one that has done wonderful works in Jesus’ name, be sent away by him? The following verse, 23 tells us. He says depart to those who never knew him. We are called “Christ-ins” or Christians, followers of Christ, discipled ones in Christ, Ambassadors for Christ and many other titles that indicate a close personal relationship and intimacy with the one we represent. To believe the scriptures and effectively do these mighty works with authority and power, is NOT the same as knowing Christ personally and intimately. He said this poem is a gift to someone who has been following other voices, rather than his. Let’s turn to Christ and listen to all he has to share with us. There is no substitute for abiding in him and allowing him to abide in us.
John 15:4 Abide in me, and I in you. As the branch cannot bear fruit of itself, except it abide in the vine; no more can ye, except ye abide in me.
