Jesus Christ spoke at 305 a.m., to call us to life:
A Call To Life
Hear me and write, a great stirring in the night.
A wave of heat and healing –
no one can debate the new words I relate
as you listen and scribe, I’m revealing.
A truth yet untold, my word I unfold,
to the weary and dreary I’m visiting.
Sit now and pretend you’re lost and defend
all the reasons your insecurity is prohibiting.
No one can avoid my call to return
to a life of joy and rejoicing,
for fulfilled you will be, and healed you will see,
all I’m giving to those who were avoiding.
Stand up and be proud and rip off the old shroud
of death and darkness you’re wearing.
Say no to the hate, and stop the long wait,
for a life filled with love I am sharing.
Last call I have said to the ones who’ve made their bed
with liars and cheaters and thieves.
Come home now to me and soon you will see
my glory on those who believe.
No more stalling nor waiting, my heart’s anticipating
a new unity for our family.
So come near and be dear in my presence. You’ll hear,
well done, you’ve won against the calamity.
Today’s Written Word:
John 15:15 Henceforth I call you not servants; for the servant knoweth not what his lord doeth: but I have called you friends; for all things that I have heard of my Father I have made known unto you.
Romans 10:13 For whosoever shall call upon the name of the Lord shall be saved.
II Corinthians 2:14 But thanks be to God, who always leads us in triumph in Christ, and through us reveals the fragrance of the knowledge of Him in every place.
Ecclesiastes 5:18-20 NASB20 Here is what I have seen to be good and fitting: to eat, to drink, and enjoy oneself in all one’s labor in which he labors under the sun during the few years of his life which God has given him; for this is his reward.
Furthermore, as for every person to whom God has given riches and wealth, He has also given him the opportunity to enjoy them and to receive his reward and rejoice in his labor; this is the gift of God.
For he will not often call to mind the years of his life, because God keeps him busy with the joy of his heart.
A Word of Encouragement:
This poem rings true for many of us who are being awakened by our Lord in the night. It starts with a wave of heat and glory that stirs us, then a knowing that wisdom and healing has been delivered. After that we feel the urge to arise and scribe the words our Lord is speaking. Christ is awakening his church today both spiritually and in the physical. To those who are obedient and get up night after night to record the precious words of revelation from him, we say thank you! All are called to him to enjoy life and liberty again. His heart is toward all of mankind, to turn toward him and receive forgivness, life, and joy. Let’s hear and obey, and reclaim our joy!
