Jesus Christ speaks of his role as Head of the Army of Lights: 

Love is sweet and cozy on a cold December morning, like sitting by a warm fireplace and enjoying your favorite hot beverage. That is how most people see me, their Lord and Christ, a comforting, warm blanket of rest and peace . . . It’s time to update your image of me! I am a warrior for our family, one that God has sent to train and teach each one of the faithful in battling our enemies. Let’s get up and moving – suited up in your spiritual armor and ready to take the victory today! 

Do you report for your spiritual assignment each day? There are many wars raging on the earth and many fronts are being fought over. I have sent out the heavenly host to battle against those who are subverting the truth of God and trying to remove God’s Word from your government, schools and your country altogether. This is the hour to fight with them and begin to reinstate God’s words and ways into your daily lives.  

How are these battles won and lost? The first step is to become aware of the conflict. If you’ve seen any news in the past year, you’ve seen the battle between good and evil. The second step is gathering a passionate, committed army to do the reconnaissance and exposure of the plans and attacks of the enemy. In the United States, the goal of the darkness is to remove the light of God from your lives by promoting sin and selfishness. They speak of riches while they steal your health, wealth, hope, and families. The goal of removing your freedom of choice in living for God and speaking for Him was almost achieved, but the dark ones crossed the line by exposing just how depraved and evil they are in the opening ceremony of the Olympics, and the blatant lies by their news anchors and politicians in 2024. People have awakened to their deception.  

Now the covers are being ripped off and the evil they have been doing is being exposed. The righteous who are in positions of power are wielding my sword of justice and charging forward in unison to push back our enemies and take back your freedoms. Stand up and speak up now, my beloved. Become warriors for truth and light by fervent prayer and bold rescue of your country and its citizens. Become my Army of Light and pick up your swords of the spirit today! 

Today’s Written Word

Hebrews 4:12 For the word of God is quick, and powerful, and sharper than any twoedged  sword, piercing even to the dividing asunder of soul and spirit, and of the joints and marrow, and is a discerner of the thoughts and intents of the heart.

Ephesians 6:14-20 Stand therefore, having your loins girt about with truth, and having on the breastplate of righteousness;

And your feet shod with the preparation of the gospel of peace;

Above all, taking the shield of faith, wherewith ye shall be able to quench all the fiery darts of the wicked.

And take the helmet of salvation, and the sword of the Spirit, which is the word of God

Praying always with all prayer and supplication in the Spirit, and watching thereunto with all perseverance and supplication for all saints;

And for me, that utterance may be given unto me, that I may open my mouth boldly, to make known the mystery of the gospel,

For which I am an ambassador in bonds: that therein I may speak boldly, as I ought to speak.

A Word of Encouragement

Let’s become warriors for truth and light by praying fervently, obeying the voice of our Lord Jesus, and aggressively charging forward in this spiritual war RIGHT NOW! We can suit up in our spiritual armor each day and prepare to speak with boldness and grace to all who will hear. We push back the darkness as we speak the words of truth. We are the children of light and salt, deliverance and joy. We are each born for such a time as this and we will carry out the will of God as we get our daily assignments and carry them out as our Lord leads this army of light!
