Jesus Christ knocks at our hearts door:
When I come unto you, I tap at your heart’s door, asking, whispering, and checking to see if you will let me come in. Do you hear me, children of God? Can you sense my calling to awaken and receive me? I come in peace and grace, for our Father has sent me in love to awaken all that sleep in the grave of sin, and flounder in the depths of the darkest seas. Let me into your hearts and I will give you light. The light of our Father’s Spirit will come upon you and glow within you as you release me to fill you with His love and holiness.
Your spirit is a gift I give as you surrender all to me. My spirit is the hope and joy of your heart. It is the way to connect with me and our Father in heaven. I give life eternal – a small token of my acknowledgement of your reception of my love. The fullness of walking in me and with me comes over time. It takes time to illuminate the dark places hidden in your minds and bodies, and time heals you as you allow me to flood you with the light and love of our Father. I have come to all who will receive me, all who will open their heart to me, all who will follow my lead to life more abundant in joy, love and health.
To be spiritually healthy is to receive and believe my words. I am the healer of broken hearts. I am your true physician who mends your broken spirits that have been assaulted by the world and what the evil ones have planted there. Pluck out their evil thoughts and be cleansed by letting me wash over you in mind and body. Do not allow the darkness to hold any sway upon you in body, soul, nor spirit. Become all love and light in me by turning toward my voice, my leading and my deliverance. Invite me to become your all in all and I will open your heart to our Father’s heart, the center of the universe, the origin of life and love.
Be still and listen now, I am knocking, calling, waiting for permission and access.
Today’s Written Word
Revelation 3:20 Behold, I stand at the door and knock. If anyone hears my voice and opens the door, then I will come in to him, and will dine with him, and he with me.
Acts 28:27 For the heart of this people is waxed gross, and their ears are dull of hearing, and their eyes have they closed; lest they should see with their eyes, and hear with their ears, and understand with their heart, and should be converted, and I should heal them.
Matthew 3:11,12 I indeed baptize you with water unto repentance: but he that cometh after me is mightier than I, whose shoes I am not worthy to bear: he shall baptize you with the Holy Ghost, and with fire:
Whose fan is in his hand, and he will throughly purge his floor, and gather his wheat into the garner; but he will burn up the chaff with unquenchable fire.
John 17:3 And this is life eternal, that they might know thee the only true God, and Jesus Christ, whom thou hast sent.
Romans 10:9 That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved.
Romans 8:9 But you are not in the flesh but in the Spirit, if indeed the Spirit of God dwells in you. Now if anyone does not have the Spirit of Christ, he is not His.
Romans 8:10 And if Christ is in you, the body is dead because of sin, but the Spirit is life because of righteousness.
II Corinthians 3:3 clearly you are an epistle of Christ, ministered by us, written not with ink but by the Spirit of the living God, not on tablets of stone but on tablets of flesh, that is, of the heart.
II Peter 1:19 We have also a more sure word of prophecy; whereunto ye do well that ye take heed, as unto a light that shineth in a dark place, until the day dawn, and the day star ( metaph. Christ) arise (spring or grow up) in your hearts:
A Word of Encouragement
Here are the basis steps to hearing the voice of God. When we are faithful and near to God, He will send His Son Jesus Christ to speak to us. Most people hear God’s voice first, then He sends Jesus later.
1. Receive the gift of holy spirit. Turn to God by accepting Jesus Christ as Lord. Invite him into your heart and believe. Romans 10:9, 10, 17 – faith comes by hearing the Word of God.
2. Ask in prayer for God and Christ to speak. Be faithful, and make a habit of praising God, and of prayer and listening time. Don’t quit, stick with it until you hear. God is good!
3. Listen, quiet your own thoughts and listen for the thoughts of God and His Son. These are usually not audible, but spontaneous, spiritual thoughts and images from above.
4. Write, record what you hear. Keep a paper and pen next to your bed, or at your morning prayer chair. Expect God will speak and send thoughts of revelation.
5. Obey, God will not give a second, third or fourth message to us until we have heeded his voice. Obedience and sanctification are keys to drawing us neared to God’s heart and that of Jusus Christ. His followers discipline themselves to walk as he leads.
