God speaks of being united in the truth:

United Peoples

What do you do when you hear something new?
Do you balk and chaff and rebuff?
Or do you consider that perhaps your thinking was immature
and not go off in a huff?

When my family is brave, you’ll walk out of the caves
where you’ve hidden beneath all the steeples
and see you agree on how you know me,
for my true church is all of the peoples.

Come together, my children, and forget all your labels
of churches and doctrines of men.
Sing a song and rejoice as you lift up your voice
and praise me in true unison.

For a new day has dawned, and the old ways are gone,
now’s the time to unite in my son.
As you follow his leading, my voice you are heeding.
You’ll see all the victories you’ve won.

Come away from the stale and boring and dry
to seek my spiritual power.
In seeking you’ll find I will open your mind
to receive revelations in showers
of glorious waves of silver and gold,
as you see through the veil in this hour.

And with eyes open wide, you no longer will hide
behind the dead doctrines of men,
but will venture out, and in freedom you’ll shout,
we’re delivered by God, not by them!

Today’s Written Word

Ephesians 4:2-4 With all lowliness and meekness, with longsuffering, forbearing 

one another in love;

Endeavouring to keep the unity of the Spirit in the bond of peace.

There is one body, and one Spirit, even as ye are called in one hope of your calling;

Ephesians 4:13 Till we all come in the unity of the faith, and of the knowledge of the Son of God, unto a perfect man, unto the measure of the stature of the fulness of Christ:

Psalm 108:3 I will praise thee, O LORD, among the people: and I will sing praises unto thee among the nations.

I Peter 2:21 For even hereunto were ye called: because Christ also suffered for us, leaving us an example, that ye should follow his steps:

Hebrews 10:19-22 Having therefore, brethren, boldness to enter into the holiest by the blood of Jesus, By a new and living way, which he hath consecrated (renew, do anew, again) for us, through the veil (curtain between spiritual or physical, between common and holy), that is to say, his flesh (sin, sin nature);

And having an high priest over the house of God; Let us draw near with a true heart in full assurance of faith, having our hearts sprinkled from an evil conscience, and our bodies washed with pure water.

A Word of Encouragement

God is so loving to correct us when we are following other people rather than Him. He is saying we are NOT to divide God’s family by labels. He asks us – are we patient and looking for common ground so we can unite with ALL of God’s children, despite what church or religious label they come from? He says to stop the division! We are in a new day and God is calling us to enlightenment, joy and excitement! Let’s walk out from under the old labels, old boring ways of man’s doctrines and run toward the LIVING God and His LIVING Son Jesus Christ and follow them into our glorious future!
