Jesus Christ speaks of God’s glory descending: 

Treasures of Gold

Beauty comes in many forms,
like the rosy cheeks of a baby
or a sunny light that catches your sight
as you sit and ponder what may be.

Golden light is lovely and bright
and can be intoxicating.
But the heavenly glow, from the Father you know,
is truly for what you’ve been waiting.

Stand up now and behold the color of gold
as His mighty glory descends.
And with it great power in this very hour
as your heart, soul, and body He mends.

Today’s Written Word

Exodus 24:16 The glory of the LORD resided on Mount Sinai, and the cloud covered it for six days. On the seventh day he called to Moses from within the cloud.

And the verse I miss quoted:

Exodus 34:35 And the children of Israel saw the face of Moses, that the skin of Moses’ face shone: and Moses put the vail upon his face again, until he went in to speak with him.

Isaiah 4:5 And the LORD will create upon every dwelling place of mount Zion, and upon her assemblies, a cloud and smoke by day, and the shining of a flaming fire by night: for upon all the glory shall be a defence.

Leviticus 9:6 And Moses said, This is the thing which the LORD commanded that ye should do: and the glory of the LORD shall appear unto you.

Luke 21:27 And then shall they see the Son of man coming in a cloud with power and great glory.

I Peter 1:7 That the trial of your faith, being much more precious than of gold that perisheth, though it be tried with fire, might be found unto praise and honour and glory at the appearing of Jesus Christ:

A Word of Encouragement

Jesus Christ is speaking today of the glory of God descending upon us to bring healing and power! God has spoken of a refreshing coming in these days to heal and mend the faithful so we can move through the coming challenges in strength and peace. Our part in receiving is to be well connected to God through our dedication in prayer, praise, study and communing with him and His Son. Let’s exercise our spiritual privilage and come boldly before God’s throne in praise and prayer today!

An Action Item

We are encouraged in the scriptures to take communion and remember the deliverance we have in Christ accomplished sacrifice. We are free from sickness and sin as we discern the Lord’s body, and allow his full access to our body, soul, and spirit to lead us into wholeness with him in God. Here are some verses to declare as you receive. Luke 22:16-20, I Corinthians 11:23-26
