Jesus speaks of a successful life as we make our spiritual walk our first priority: 

Grace and mercy I give to all who will come near. Grace to overcome where others fail and mercy to be forgiven when you fail. My words are life and all I speak is truth, and is given to energize and invigorate you in spirit, mind and body. Most people care for their flesh as their first priority, feeding and cleansing and dressing it. Then they seek knowledge and entertainment, acceptance and love to nourish and satisfy mind and soul. But I say come to me first to nourish your spirit, and mind and body will flourish. 

Spiritual life is eternal. Your life now is a spiritual being resting in a physical body and soul. You have breath and thought life because God has given them to you. You can speak and move and touch others in the earth as I lead and inspire to awaken and inspire the spiritual life in them. The competition in this life is not for fame nor money, but to walk by the Spirit of God in love.  

The whole law is now reduced to love God and love your neighbor as yourself. We need to teach self love and respect by showing our family how to love. Time and attention are the currency God requires to show Him our love and as we give Him first priority in each day and every decision, He will pour His love and blessings upon us. When each spirit-filled Christian is walking in love, the power of God will flow in abundance and faith will grow to mighty heights. 

All giving and receiving in the spiritual realm is built upon faith. I have given you my faith within so you can accomplish mighty exploits upon the earth. Ignite your spirits by feeding them the words of my mouth and those of our Father. Cleanse yourself each day by being washed and refreshed in my heavenly blood, and clothe yourself in my holy garments of peace, wisdom, and love. Make every decision based on God’s love and your spirit will grow and flourish in me, your Christ. Be great in spiritual matters and small in body and soul. Love is the key to a successful journey in this life and the next.

Colossians 3:1 If ye then be risen with Christ, seek those things which are above, where Christ sitteth on the right hand of God.

Romans 8:1 There is therefore now no condemnation to them which are in Christ Jesus, who walk not after the flesh, but after the Spirit.

Galatians 5:13,14 For, brethren, ye have been called unto liberty; only use not liberty for an occasion to the flesh, but by love serve one another.

For all the law is fulfilled in one word, even in this; Thou shalt love thy neighbour as thyself.

Luke 18:42, 43 And Jesus said unto him, Receive thy sight: thy faith hath saved thee. And immediately he received his sight, and followed him, glorifying God: and all the people, when they saw it, gave praise unto God.

Galatians 3:14 That the blessing of Abraham might come on the Gentiles through Jesus Christ; that we might receive the promise of the Spirit through faith.

Acts 6:8 And Stephen, full of faith and power, did great wonders and miracles among the people.

A Word of Encouragement

We are encouraged by our Lord to love God, love ourselves, and love our neighbors as ourselves. He said we love God by making our spiritual walk or relationship with Him our first priority. We love ourselves by giving our own spiritual lives top priority in focus and attention, rather than serving our body and soul needs and desires. Those are important, but they should not override our time and attention to our relationship with God and Christ. Those who are born of God’s spirit are filled with His love for all of mankind, and we can pour it out to all. Let’s put some extra, focused time and attention into our spiritual lives today, and do mighty exploits!
