Jesus Christ speaks of loving our fellow family members:
Love is kind and honest and comes in truth. True love is not tainted with bribes meant for seducing, or enticing your acceptance. A date is meant to reveal the other person’s character and to get to know who they are. It is not meant for receiving lavish gifts nor extravagant meals. You who are dating should take note. Look to give only LOVE to those seeking family.
Love Most Excellent!
Spend some time getting to know those in our family,
Ask them of their hopes and dreams, your interest they will see.
Reach out and give my love to them, in a more excellent way.
Treat them like true brothers and sisters, in the family they’ll stay.
Those who God has chosen to join in His royal lineage,
will see your love light shine, and you they will acknowledge.
Invite them in to dine with you, and to sit and share,
and soon their hearts will open, as they feel your love and care.
Be bold to show your love to all, as I send them from far and near.
Let love abound, from your every sound, and sing God’s praises in their ear.
Life is getting harder, and a breath of fresh air you will be,
Like a cool breeze on a hot day rolls in with the waves of the sea.
Continue in love to all of mankind, continue to shine forth in glory.
As those who are broken and lonely and bound, are loved into sharing their story.
Show them your heart, and the love of our Father.
Lead them to me, to get saved by your Brother.
Explain the big plan as you pour on our love,
And give them the key to eternal life from above.
Now is the time for the floodgates have opened.
This is the turning, of which we have spoken.
Step up now, my brethren, take your turn at the plate,
And swing for the fences, open wide is heaven’s gate.
Do not miss this inning, nor sit on the bench, For soon we’ll take the win, by God’s power in the clench.
Today’s Written Word
I John 4:7-12 Beloved, let us love one another: for Love is of God; and every one that loveth is born of God, and knoweth God.
He that loveth not knoweth not God; for God is love.
In this was manifested the love of God toward us, because that God sent his only begotten Son into the world, that we might live through him.
Herein is love, not that we loved God, but that he loved us, and sent his Son to be the propitiation for our sins.
Beloved, if God so loved us, we ought also to love one another.
No man hath seen God at any time. If we love one another, God dwelleth in us, and his love is perfected in us.
I Jo 4:16 And we have known and believed the Love that God hath to us. God is love; and he that dwelleth in love dwelleth in God, and God in him.
A Word of Encouragement
Love heals all! We can give out all the love we have received from our Father above and our Lord Jesus Christ. We are the vessels of love, the givers of life and health as we pray and care for God’s family. Our Lord Jesus has charged us with reaching out to those who need to know him to receive eternal life, by sharing the love of God with all. As dark as the world is today, we will surely shine brilliantly.
