God speaks prophecy in poetry of a coming gift:
Holiday Blessings
The holidays are coming now,
and colder weather too.
Coats and gloves and scarves you’ll don
to keep from turning blue.
And what of leaves that fall away,
and turn from golden brown and red,
like candy on an apple,_
glorious colors they will shed.
Bundle up my lovely children,
and take cover from the cold,
collect the memories of the colors,
as treasures to behold.
When the wind has passed over,
and all becomes quite still,
all those who seek my blessings,
will receive a Christmas thrill.
A gift now I am sending,
one you surely will employ,
and not because you earned it,
but by grace to bring you joy.
Today’s Written Word
James 1:17 AMP Every good thing given and every perfect gift is from above; it comes down from the Father of lights [the Creator and Sustainer of the heavens], in whom there is no variation [no rising or setting] or shadow cast by His turning [for He is perfect and never changes].
Ephesians 2:8 For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of God:
I Peter 4:8-10 And above all things have fervent charity among yourselves: for charity shall cover the multitude of sins.
Use hospitality one to another without grudging. As every man hath received the gift, even so minister the same one to another, as good stewards of the manifold grace of God.
Jeremiah 15:16 Thy words were found, and I did eat them; and thy word was unto me the joy and rejoicing of mine heart: for I am called by thy name, O LORD God of hosts.
Psalm 30:5 NKJV For His anger is but for a moment,
His favor is for life; Weeping may endure for a night,
But joy comes in the morning.
