Today’s Living Word: Friday – Ignite Your Lights!

4–6 minutes

Jesus Christ speaks prophecy of heroes and lights in the night:

Love me with your whole heart my brethren. Give up your childish ways and be self-less and faith-filled now. These are the days of sorrows and woes, not of joy. Many new revelations are coming of all that has been done in secret and all that must be cleared up, cleaned out and eliminated from your leadership in politics and religion. So much evil has been promoted above the ways of God. Too many hearts have been hurt, and lives lost due to neglect and wrong inflicted on the innocent ones. Be my heroes in this dark season and reach out to lift up the weary.

What is asked of those with lanterns full of oil? To ignite and shine! Now is the time to let your love and light shine brightly. Be ahead of the storms now by being prepared in the physical and the spiritual. What you can do – do quickly. What you cannot – do not fret about, but pray for my wisdom and help. The Father and I will run to your aid when supplies fail and sorrows overwhelm you. Claim peace in every situation and know we care for you.

Sing songs in the darkest of nights to lift and cheer you. Wade through the waters of despair to find higher ground, and help in the fellowship of our family. Be victory and success-minded. Be focusing on the future and making do with less in times of trials. Become “lean and mean” and “fit and furious” for your Lord as we stand united against the darkness. Now is the time for strength in the face of fear and famine. Be strong, be prepared, be in my will and in my covering now. We will overcome together.

Today’s Written Word

Matthew 25:1  Then the kingdom of heaven shall be likened to ten virgins who took their lamps and went to meet the bridegroom.

Five of them were foolish (thoughtless, without forethought) and five were wise (sensible, intelligent, and prudent). For when the foolish took their lamps, they did not take any [extra] oil with them;

But the wise took flasks of oil along with them [also] with their lamps. While the bridegroom lingered and was slow in coming, they all began nodding their heads, and they fell asleep.

But at midnight there was a shout, Behold, the bridegroom! Go out to meet him! Then all those virgins got up and put their own lamps in order.

And the foolish said to the wise, Give us some of your oil, for our lamps are going out. But the wise replied, There will not be enough for us and for you; go instead to the dealers and buy for yourselves.

10 But while they were going away to buy, the bridegroom came, and those who were prepared went in with him to the marriage feast; and the door was shut. 11 Later the other virgins also came and said, Lord, Lord, open [the door] to us!

12 But He replied, I solemnly declare to you, I do not know you [I am not acquainted with you]. 13 Watch therefore [give strict attention and be cautious and active], for you know neither the day nor the hour when the Son of Man will come.

A Word of Encouragement

On Monday of this week, we were inspired to release an emergency preparedness video to help those in God’s family make some basic preparations for what is about to begin. Our Lord and savior is asking us to be selfless and faith filled now. He is leading us to step forward and be his heroes in this dark season. We are the ones with our lanterns full of oil our spirits are filled with the truth, love and wisdom of God manifested in us by Christ, and we are being called to awaken, ignite and shine his love and light forth!

An Action Item

Christ is encouraging us to be prepared now in the physical and the spiritual. To move quickly and do what we can to get ready and pray for wisdom and help in those areas where we need help. We are to stay peaceful in the darkest of nights, and to sing songs to cheer us up when we are overwhelmed. We will stand together in unity and we will overcome together. Be in love and connection with our Lord Jesus Christ now, and also get our physical homes ready for some big changes. We will do it together!
