Today’s Living Word: Wednesday – Trail Blazers

3–5 minutes

Jesus Christ speaks to the obedient warriors:

Walk in harmony with me – in tune and in step. As I lead – follow. As I speak – do. As I instruct – believe. This time is the entrance to the new Kingdom, the invitation to the celebration of the new. There are new clothes to put on, new positions to stand in, and new homes to live in. You may choose to keep the old and shabby, and wear what is worn out, or you can run toward the new – dancing and singing with joy. Choose the new!

Come to me in secret and confess your agreement. Be willing to travel to new places and invade strange spaces with my love and light. You are the sent ones whom I have called to lead now. Go where I send and speak as I lead. The life-giving light will pour over you, and you will wear it as a covering now. You are those who have purified and sanctified themselves in obedience to me.

Stand up and receive your commissioning now. Be prepared in your hearts and minds to run forward in holy service and dedication to me. Pray for all who are called to answer my invitation to arise and come. The door is closing soon, and only the brave will receive – those who have submitted and committed to all I have asked of them. Those who hear – come!

A Word of Encouragement

A trailblazer is one who goes a new way, to a new place. They travel ahead of the big group and make a way that has not been known before. In an era that is all new, someone must lead. Believers are being given new robes – new mantels – new anointing’s and special abilities in order to get the work done and lead others in the NEW ways of Christ, Let’s answer his call!

An Action Item

This post is addressed to the warriors. Those are believers who have heard the voice of our Lord Jesus Christ and obeyed. We have learned to walk and talk with him in intimate relationship. He says to follow, do and believe as he leads us now. This is the entrance to the new era, and for those who have submitted and purified our walks with him, we will receive. Now is the time to step up and receive our commissioning, and to pray for those who are yet to arise to their calling. What an exciting time this is!
