Jesus Christ speaks to each member of his body – You are special and necessary!

Let’s get happy! So many sorrows have been amplified on your TV screens and computers – now is a good day to find a reason to rejoice. Knowing me is an investment in time. You are less likely to give me all you have because you know I am always available, unlike the invitation from an earthly king or even a president of a country, that you would dress up and prepare for. I am the invisible Lord that you can talk with in your PJ’s anytime. You wander away to other pursuits and I am left waiting. Take me with you and I will help! 

Do you know I desire to be involved in every moment of your day, and to hear your every question and to answer you in peace and wisdom? I am a personal savior to each of you in all you are and all you do. My will is in perfect harmony with our Father’s and He will refresh you in body, soul and spirit as you learn to surrender to my help and leading in every aspect of life.  As a young child grows into a mature body, you are each given a spiritual body to grow into. As you nourish and cherish your walk with me, I deliver truth and strength to develop your abilities in the spiritual realm, the true and eternal life you have just begun, the life you will continue in for many ages to come! 

I am sent to reveal what is best for each of you by helping you see and fulfill your personal destinies in our family. You are part of me in the body of Christ. You each have a very particular function in keeping my body healthy and fit, growing and thriving. Imagine a physical body with all 30 trillion cells functioning perfectly! You would be able to do any task with energy and joy. 

But what if only a portion were functioning at optimum levels, or some not at all? Many of our brethren have been damaged by those who God sent to help them. Sadly, others in our family have injured one another and done harm to my body. It is time to heal and restore all that will receive now. The Father and I are calling many new faces into the body now, and each will come with unique talents and some with many old hurts that will need your love and encouragement to heal and integrate into one body. 

Let’s get happy and healthy in our family today. Each of you can gain strength and wisdom by immersing yourselves in truth and becoming all you are destined to be. Lift and love all those around you and be a refreshing to them and to my body, of which you are each a necessary and important part. Seek to become one with me and each other in harmony with God. 

Today’s Written Word

Philippians 4:4 NKJV Rejoice in the Lord always. Again I will say, rejoice!

John 8:12 Then spake Jesus again unto them, saying, I am the light of the world: he that followeth me shall not walk in darkness, but shall have the light of life.

I John 1:7 But if we walk in the light, as he is the light, we have fellowship one with another, and the blood of Jesus Christ his Son cleanseth us from all sin.

Ephesians 5:25b-27 Christ also loved the church, and gave himself for it; That he might sanctify and cleanse it with the washing of water by the word, That he might present it to himself a glorious church, not having spot, or wrinkle, or any such thing; but that it should be holy and without blemish.

Ephesians 5:29,30 ESV For no one ever hated his own flesh, but nourishes and cherishes it, just as Christ does the church, because we are members of his body.

I Corinthians 12:27 Now ye are the body of Christ, and members in particular.

Romans 15:6 That ye may with one mind and one mouth glorify God,  even the Father of our Lord Jesus Christ.

I Corinthians 8:6 But to us there is but one God, the Father, of whom are all things, and we in him; and one Lord Jesus Christ, in whom are all things, and we by him.

A Word of Encouragement

Our Lord is encouraging us to take him along in all we do! What an awesome Lord and savior we have. He is always helping, guiding and directing our every step. He will refresh us, and strengthen us in body, soul and spirit so we can develop our spiritual walk in harmony with him and our Father God. He spoke of our particular function in his body, and how we are each important and necessary, and we are to keep the body of Christ fit and healthy, growing and thriving!

An Action Item

Christ started this word with a request to spend time with him. We spend the most time with those we love, and we love to spend time with our Lord! He said we can talk and listen to him in our PJ’s, and that he is always available. We can shut down the tech for a while and sit in his loving presence. He wants us to take him with us wherever we go, and we will definitely get happy! We can lift and love others as we continue to walk in the joy and strength of our Lord, and in harmony and fellowship with God and each other. Let’s get refreshed in him and get happy!
