Zephaniah 3:17 The LORD thy God in the midst of thee is mighty; he will save, he will rejoice over thee with joy; he will rest in his love, he will joy over thee with singing.

Today’s Written Word

The Love of God is Powerful As We Give it Out

Love heals: Hosea 14:4 I will heal their backsliding, I will love them freely: for mine anger is turned away from him.

Exodus 15:26b I will put none of these diseases upon thee, which I have brought upon the Egyptians: for I am the LORD that healeth thee.

• Love energizes: Galatians 5:6 For in Jesus Christ neither circumcision availeth any thing, nor uncircumcision; but faith which worketh (energeo= is energized)  by love.

Ephesians 6:23  Peace be to the brethren, and love (mixed) with faith, from God the Father and the    Lord Jesus Christ.

• Love springs forth (sprouts): I Timothy 1:5 AMP But the goal of our instruction is love [which springs] from a pure heart and a good conscience and a sincere faith. 

We can pray for God to open the eyes of our heart, to see what needs to be purified so we can LOVE greater!

• Love in the oil of anointing: Hebrews 1:9 CSB You have loved righteousness and hated lawlessness; this is why God, your God, has anointed you with the oil of joy beyond your companions.

Song of Sol. 1:3 Your anointing oils are fragrant, your name is oil poured out; therefore the maidens love you.

Love is fulfilling the commandments: II John 1:6 And this is love, that we walk after his commandments. This is the commandment, That, as ye have heard from the beginning, ye should walk in it.   (Luke 10:27)

Love cleanses: Deuteronomy 30:6  The LORD your God will also cleanse your heart and the hearts of your descendants so that you may love him with all your mind and being and so that you may live.

Love speaks the power of God into being: Proverbs 18:21  Death and life are in the power of the tongue: and they that love it shall eat the fruit thereof.

Love uplifts when we are drowning in sorrow: Philip.2:1,2  If there be therefore any consolation in Christ, if any comfort of love, if any fellowship of the Spirit, if any bowels and mercies, Fulfil ye my joy, that ye be likeminded, having the same love, being of one accord, of one mind.

Love calms us when we are anxious:  Romans 8:35 Who shall separate us from the love of Christ? shall tribulation, or distress, or persecution, or famine, or nakedness, or peril, or sword? Jeremiah 17:8

Love quiets the angry: Hosea 14:4 I will heal their backsliding, I will love them freely: for mine anger is turned away from him.   Proverbs 15:1 a soft answer turneth away wrath.

Love overcomes fear: II Timothy 1:7  For God hath not given us the spirit of fear; but of power, and of love, and of a sound mind. Romans 8:37 YLT   But we are able to overcome all these things and more through his love.

Love is of God, for God is Love: I John 4:7 Beloved, let us love one another: for love is of God; and every one that loveth is born of God, and knoweth God.
