Today’s Living Word: Wednesday – Who Will Lead?

4–6 minutes

Jesus Christ speaks of answering the call to lead:

Today we begin a walk in the new day – new era, and new life. You who are leading the way will see the new vistas first and will show others the paths to where we are going tomorrow. My church is yet sleeping and unaware of the many changes to come, but they will all awaken soon. Some to shame and discontent, some to new assignments and joy, and many to judgment for disobedience and rebellion. Sorrow not for my justice is righteous and filled with mercy. Be holy and cleave to me.

We are marching forward and gathering strength as new family members awaken and come into alignment with us. Think of the multiplication from ten to one hundred, then one hundred to one thousand in only a few weeks. All will choose soon – left, right or down to the pit they will go. No, it’s not a pretty picture, but it is one that you will see play out soon. Be prepared to help all you can, and “can” all you can! (I heard the word sealed, as in canned up – sealed with holy spirit). The harvest is plenteous, but laborers for gathering are yet few. Be walking as faith-filled, obedient ministers for me now and lead them to my love in service to others. The minutes are passing and their opportunities to become servants unto righteousness, with them.

And who will lead this mighty army of light? Will it be you who mount up upon mighty steeds with swords drawn to arrest evil and rescue the captives? Or will you sit by and let others carry my glory into the new Kingdom? You are all able ministers – filled with my words, equipped with my armor and swords, each given a particular place and assignment to carry out. Lay down your earthly pleasures and enticements and come to me now. Let me lead you into the all truth and light you were meant to become. Now is the day for victory. Come join the triumphant procession!

Today’s Written Word

Romans 13:11 AMP Do this, knowing that this is a critical time. It is already the hour for you to awaken from your sleep [of spiritual complacency]; for our salvation is nearer to us now than when we first believed [in Christ].

Romans 13:12-13 The night is far spent, the day is at hand: let us therefore cast off the works of darkness, and let us put on the armour of light.

Let us walk honestly, as in the day; not in rioting and drunkenness, not in chambering and wantonness, not in strife and envying.

Luke 10:1-3 NKJV After these things the Lord appointed seventy others also, and sent them two by two before His face into every city and place where He Himself was about to go.

Then He said to them, “The harvest truly is great, but the laborers are few; therefore pray the Lord of the harvest to send out laborers into His harvest. “Go your way; behold, I send you out as lambs among wolves.

Exodus 14:20 So it came between the camp of Egypt and the camp of Israel. It was a cloud along with darkness [even by day to the Egyptians], but it gave light by night [to the Israelites]; so one [army] did not come near the other all night.

Deuteronomy 33:29 How blessed you are, O Israel!
Who else is like you, a people saved by the LORD?
He is your protecting shield and your triumphant sword!
Your enemies will cringe before you, and you will stomp on their backs!”

A Word of Encouragement

By free will God has called us to love Him, to make His son our Lord and Christ. Today, Jesus said we are beginning a new life and a new era. Those who choose to lead in serving will show the way to others who follow. We are called to awaken the sleeping church and help those who are ready to run forward in their new assignments and find the true joy of the Lord. As we become holy and align ourselves with our Lord, we will see multiplication and the glory of the Lord will shine forth. We are able ministers and NOW is the time to bring in the harvest!

An Action Item

We are called to “mount up upon mighty steeds with swords drawn to arrest evil and rescue the captives”. Let’s get saddled up and start speaking words of deliverance as our Lord leads. It is a choice to grow in Christ, to serve in Christ and to take on the spiritual realm with might and faith. The more filled with his light and love we are, the quicker we will succeed in arresting the evil ones and setting the captives free. Then we can all enjoy marching in the triumphant procession!
