Today’s Living Word Saturday – SHOCK, CHOP, GROW!

4–7 minutes

Prophecy received on 9-16-24

God reveals His call to relationship:

Joy comes in the morning when a new day dawns, or perhaps a whole new era. My blessings and changes will come suddenly now, like a new day breaking forth over the horizon. There is a hint of my light now beginning to shine, but the fullness of my glory has not yet arrived. Look to me for your light, and I will illuminate your eyes that you may see.

All that sparkles is reflecting my light. The dancing light upon the waves, the glory glow around the clouds at sunset, and the brilliance of my sun rays upon your face, all bring beauty and warmth. All are reminders of my presence and constant care for you. Remember my love and covering now, my beloved children, even when you cannot see my light with your physical eyes. Darkness comes for only a moment of time. Seek ye my joy in the dawning of your new day – and my new era, new life.

Why would a new age bring joy? Why would a temporary hardship bring a better quality of life? Look to past transitions and victories for my people and see the ways I have established the new and sorted the old for elimination. There have always been a faithful few who went on to claim the new – those who heard my voice and obeyed, those who received my promises, the unique and unusual, the remnant who were against culture and all that is popular, but who stood with me.

There are many deep-rooted evils in my church today – ones that must be dug up and torn out by thorough excavation. An axe to the root will begin the process, but it will take time for the lies the enemy has planted to wither and die. Be patient with those who have built their spiritual lives with tainted wood. Idolatry comes in many forms. To worship a leader or brother in Christ is stealing my glory and is an abomination to me. To eat the bread of idleness is also unclean.

Rise up to hear and obey, my people, and turn from the spiritual slumber of letting others lead. You are each called to know me and to hear my voice. Let nothing come between my spirit and yours, not the church, nor the people who lead. But develop your direct line of communication with me, your God. This is my will and word to all who will obey. Hear and obey now.

Today’s Written Word

Ezra 9:8 “And now for a little while grace has been shown from the LORD our God, to leave us a remnant to escape, and to give us a peg in His holy place, that our God may enlighten our eyes and give us a measure of revival in our bondage.

Proverbs 10:12 ESV Hatred stirs up strife,
but love covers all offenses.

I Peter 4:8 ESV Above all, keep loving one another earnestly, since love covers a multitude of sins.

Amos 9:9 AMP “For behold, I am commanding, And I shall shake and sift the house of Israel among all nations and cause it to tremble, like grain is shaken in a sieve removing the chaff, But not a kernel of the faithful remnant shall fall to the ground and be lost from My sight.

John the Baptiser and Prophet (Luke 7:28) spoke in Matthew 3:10-12

And now also the axe is laid unto the root of the trees, therefore every tree  which bringeth not forth good fruit is hewn down, and cast into the fire.

I indeed baptize you with water unto repentance: but he that cometh after me is mightier than I, whose shoes I am not worthy to bear: he shall baptize you with the Holy Ghost, and with fire:

Whose fan is in his hand, and he will throughly purge his floor, and gather his wheat into the garner; but he will burn up the chaff with unquenchable fire.

A Word of Encouragement

God has said many times that September is the month of acceleration and “suddenlies”. Well, here we go! I really enjoyed His description of light on waves, clouds and upon our faces. He reminds us to continue looking to Him even when the light fades. He directs us to look to the records of past transitions from one age to the next, to learn of temporary hardships leading to great joy. Several come to mind: the exodus from Egypt, the lifting and saving of Noah and his family, the marching around Jericho and taking of the promised land, the coming of the gift of holy spirit on Pentecost which issued in Grace. How many changes the faithful remnant led God’s people through! They endured attack, unbelief, accusations, and stood until the rest of the people who would hear and believe caught on. God says hear and obey now.

An Action Item

God pointed out that there are deep rooted evils in His church, and it’s time to take the axe to the root. He also asked us to be patient with those who have built their belief systems on people and not developed a personal connection to God. Today is the day to hear the voice of God. Every believer can listen to hear and choose to obey. We are no longer going to be following the voices of people, but God will lead each one of His children by His voice and that of Christ within the saved. Let’s turn to God in prayer and LISTEN today!
