God speaks prophecy about receiving:
“Listen, listen, pay close attention! God has something to say!” Yes, my beloved, I do have many exciting changes to announce, and they will be coming your way soon, and in quick succession. Be prepared to open the door to new gifts and surprises, new patterns of life, and new ways of giving and receiving. I am a generous Father and I enjoy blessing you with my favor and good increase now.
Have you ever been given a gift that you did not need or want? This is not that! I am a personal Father to each of you, and I know the desires of your hearts, my beloved. Come now and see all I have prepared for you. Sit with me and request a personal viewing of your future blessings and increase and I will reveal it to you!
Who can guess how blessings come? Not you! I have seen the thoughts of your minds in trying to imagine what and how and when I will release my increase to you, and I find it quite comical. I am pleased that you are expecting, for all I have spoken will surely come to pass, but not as you have conjectured. It will be a gift. As when a loved one shows up to bless you with something you did not earn, did not ask for, and did not expect. You will be delighted, my children and I am so looking forward to celebrating with you. Expect the best and get excited!
Have you thrown away your chaff yet? Do you have room for the new and shiny gifts that are coming? I am about to release them, and you will actually need space, for some are very large. Prepare your lives for the new and spectacular, for I am sending my gifts from the heavenlies to your doors. Each one is personal and individually chosen by me. Prepare to receive, rejoice and celebrate now.
Today’s Written Word
Genesis 25:2 Then Jacob said unto his household, and to all that were with him, Put away the strange gods that are among you, and be clean, and change your garments:
Genesis 45:22 To all of them he gave each man changes of raiment; but to Benjamin he gave three hundred pieces of silver, and five changes of raiment.
Philippians 3:21 Who shall change (G3345)our vile body, that it may be fashioned like unto his glorious body, according to the working whereby he is able even to subdue all things unto himself.
Change: G3345 = metaschēmatizō, meaning to change the figure of, to transform. (This is not the same word “changed” in I Corinthians 15:51 – allassō, G236 , meaning to exchange one for a different kind, or new one).
Romans 6:4 Therefore we are buried with G4916 him by baptism into death: that like as Christ was raised up (G1431) from the dead by the glory of the Father, even so we also should walk in newness of life.
Raised up: G1431 = egeirō, meaning to be raised up, to arouse, awaken, become or appear, lift up from death, be born, erect.
Buried with: G4916 = synthaptō, meaning to be inter in company with, spiritually assimilate with, bury with.
Colossians 2:4 Buried with G4916 him in baptism, wherein also ye are risen (G1431) with him through the faith of the operation of God, who hath raised him (G1431) from the dead.
Luke 11:13 If ye then, being evil, know how to give good gifts unto your children: how much more shall your heavenly Father give the Holy Spirit to them that ask him?
A Word of Encouragement
God is speaking of giving us gifts, and the greatest of all gifts comes to mind – eternal life. We need a body to house our spiritual life in, whatever time or age in our eternal life we are in. There are two bodies mentioned in the scriptures. Our physical, natural body is flesh and it requires exercise, nourishment, healing, and ongoing maintenance as we live and age. It is a natural or human body. Then there is the resurrection body of Christ that he moved about in after God raised him from the dead. He was able to move through walls, transport from the heavens to where the devils are, and move from one town to another instantly. He used it to be seen by more than five hundred people on one occasion, and to eat with the disciples, and to teach them. Then there is the new body described in I Corinthians 15 that is a spiritual body. I don’t believe we have seen the details of that one yet, but I’m asking God to teach me. Send us your thoughts 🙂
An Action Item
God said to “expect the best and get excited!” What fun to imagine gifts arriving from our heavenly Father. He said each one is personally chosen by Him just for us, and that we will be delighted.
Praise God for He is sooooooo good to us! We will be looking for those praise reports as the gifts you receive are delivered.
