Today’s Living Word Friday – Grow Baby Grow! -3

4–6 minutes

God speaks prophecy of mature strength: Part 3

How do you know if you are a mature believer, or where you are in your spiritual development? Let me first give each of you some encouragement, know that the measure of a life is the LOVE you live, not the works you do. Be always filled with my love for one another and yourselves, and you will be successful in my eyes. Love is the reason I gave my Son to redeem each of you from death, sin and sickness, and my love will never fail you. Walk in love and you will grow in my ways.

To become a mature spiritual adult, you must grow through several stages. Some are gentle and happen spontaneously over time, and some are more challenging and uncomfortable. As you become aware of the spiritual realities, it may seem a bit overwhelming: angels, powers, principalities, wars between good and evil, seeing spiritual beings and having power to release my word and heal physical bodies and souls. All of these are aspects of the spiritual realm and can be studied and mastered as you grow. I will release my wisdom and power to each of you as you are able to understand and carry the weight of it. Continue seeking me and it will come.

Be strong in your spirit, my beloved. Be filled with my Word and come to me often for fellowship. Ask me questions and listen to my leading and walk as I lead you. To know me is to understand. The goal of every believer should be nearness to me, their God, and a full fellowship with my Son. We are family. Be children in malice, my beloved- but grow up now and become warriors for me in these last days. Grow from babes to adolescents to young adults to mature leaders. I am accelerating your maturing now. Come! Let’s get growing!

Today’s Written Word

I Corinthians 2:6 However, we speak wisdom among those who are mature, yet not the wisdom of this age, nor of the rulers of this age, who are coming to nothing.

I John 1:3 That which we have seen and heard declare we unto you, that ye also may have fellowship with usand truly our fellowship is with the Father, and with his Son Jesus Christ.

II Corinthians 3:14-18 But their minds were blinded: for until this day remaineth the same vail untaken away in the reading of the old testament; which vail is done away in Christ.

But even unto this day, when Moses is read, the vail is upon their heart.

Nevertheless when it shall turn to the Lord, the vail shall be taken away.

Now the Lord is that Spirit: and where the Spirit of the Lord is, there is liberty.

But we all, with open face beholding as in a glass the glory of the Lordare changed into the same image from glory to glory, even as by the Spirit of the Lord.

Philippians 3;15 Therefore let us, as many as are mature, have this mind; and if in anything you think otherwise, God will reveal even this to you.

A Word of Encouragement

God is love, and even when He is challenging us to grow up in Christ and become spiritual adults, He reminds us that all our lives are measured by the love we live and give! God is good! God said He will release His wisdom and power as we are able to carry the weight of it. Nice.

An Action Item

God is encouraging us to walk in fellowship with Him by coming to Him often to ask questions, to share our day, to learn and be filled with His word and love. We choose where we stand, what we spend our time on, and who we spend it with. There is no greater joy than to walk with our God and His Son in fellowship and to continually learn of them. The more light and wisdom in, the more maturity will come in our understanding and strength to exercise the mighty power of God. We begin our walk under many layers of many vails of the world’s darkness, but as we look to Christ and renew our minds to God’s word, those vails are lifted and the light of God shines through. As we see and understand, we can shine!
