Today’s Living Word Wednesday – Good is Good

4–6 minutes

God speaks prophecy about our laws and government:

Hold on to your wallets, my beloved. The politicians are plotting to line their pockets with what is left in your bank accounts, and they are reaching forward to steal from your children as well. Now is not the time for apathy, but action! Step forward in the areas of politics and be present at all local and regional board meetings, City Council meetings, and vote no on all new bills relating to increases of taxation and spending. All of your budgets are grossly overspending and overfunded in order to hand out money for those in office and their associates. Stop them!

Tell them by your vote that they cannot steal from you. Ask whether or not the bill promotes the purchase of something or does it pay for salaries to continue funding evil networks? Stop hiring people to discuss evil. The attorneys, commissioners, heads of committees and chairpersons should be finding and funding solutions to the problems in society, not being paid to talk about and re-examine just how bad they are. Do you know how many millions of dollars are spent each year to perpetuate the legal systems and programs that identify, prosecute and monitor criminals? Way too many! Vote no on all taxation this year

Look to me for answers to social problems. Why are there so many homeless people in your streets today? Because the devils have been allowed to run wild and free. Teach sound doctrine to your children and re-establish prayer in your schools and the homeless you will see no more. Providing drugs and alcohol to addicted people is not a solution, but an aid to addiction, yet your governments are doing just that. Balanced legislation offers a reward to those who make an effort. Try that. Offer food and housing vouchers to the employed and begin to promote Godly behaviors. Doing good is good.

Today’s Written Word

John 10:10 The thief cometh not, but for to steal, and to kill, and to destroyI am come that they might have life, and that they might have it more abundantly.

Isaiah 9:7 Of the increase of his government and peace there shall be no end, upon the throne of David, and upon his kingdom, to order it, and to establish it with judgment and with justice from henceforth even for ever. The zeal of the LORD of hosts will perform this.

Luke 2:1 And it came to pass in those days, that there went out a decree from Caesar Augustus, that all the world should be taxed.

Matthew 23:3,4 All therefore whatsoever they bid you observe, that observe and do; but do not ye after their works: for they say, and do not. For they bind heavy burdens and grievous to be borne, and lay them on men’s shoulders; but they themselves will  not move them with one of their fingers.

I John3:4 AMP Everyone who practices sin also practices lawlessness; and sin is lawlessness [ignoring God’s law by action or neglect or by tolerating wrongdoing—being unrestrained by His commands and His will].

I Thessalonians 5:15 See that none render evil for evil unto any man; but ever follow that which is good, both among yourselves, and to all men.

Ephesians 6:7 With good will doing service, as to the Lord, and not to men:

A Word of Encouragement

God is encouraging us to become active in our government and get out and vote for Godly bills and laws. Many people are apathetic when it comes to their local governments. Most local city council meetings are open to the public and few if anyone attends. The goal of our local and state governments being of the people and for the people only works in our favor when we know what is going on and are actively voting as God leads us. This is not a political platform, but only to promote the kingdom of God. He works in legislation and He inspires men and women to serve in positions of power. We can support the will of God, the principals and eternal laws of God by voting.

An Action Item

God asked if we know how many millions of dollars are being spent on perpetuating the legal systems, monitoring and prosecuting of criminals? We live in Washington state, in the United States. After looking at the state budget, we saw some alarming numbers! From the WA state budget on their website, the actual spending approved for one category was: $133,604,613.00 which seems alarming, but they have already overspent that allowed budget by over 32 million dollars, with a current bill asking for an increase in our overall state budget of over $191 million by spring 2025! We earn every dollar that is paid out in taxes and every one of those dollars should be stewarded with care and purpose. Let’s get involved and speak up for God and His ways.

Victories and Blessings

We have recently become aware that several younger people who are wonderful, believing Christians who love the Lord, are running for public service positions in our local area. We will be voting for them!

Please share some of your victories, blessings and prayer requests so others can rejoice and believe with you.
