Today’s Living Word Friday – Changing Life Rhythms

4–6 minutes

God our Father speaks to us of learning to love living life again:

The stopping and starting of all that moves life along has begun. What pushes people to get up and get going each day will no longer be the catalyst, but, needs alone. You will shower because you need one – not because it’s morning. And you will eat because you’re hungry – not because the clock says it’s time. Shopping for pleasure will be a thing of the past, as will leisure travel. Counting will become a new focus. Counting the days, counting your food, and what supplies remain, will be an essential task for all. Check on all that you will need each day. Do you have some extra set aside? Think about what is essential to your family and invest in stocking up on those things.

Who told you to be afraid of the darkness – the TV shows and movies? Yes, but not your God. I am the God of peace, and I made the light to shine by day and the dark by night. The day is for moving about and accomplishing your work and tasks. Sunlight warms the planet and grows your food. The night is for peace and rest. A hundred years ago, all was quiet at night. It will be quiet again, and you will rest from all your laborers, late night viewing and junk food deliveries. It’s time to go old school, my children, old ways of books, not high tech, and old ways of bathing, cooking and cleaning are coming to you soon.

Be not afraid, my children. Not afraid of the darkness nor the changes. They are for a short time and you will learn much about what is important and needed and what has been promoted by false teachers and greedy preachers. Be at peace in me, your God, for I am here and always near. Call out to me in the darkness and I will answer you in peace and provision. My ways are clever and I will inspire new and better. It’s time to toss the artificial and lean into what is real. Real money and real food and real relationships are coming your way as you stop and take a look around. A blanket of darkness is coming to protect your eyes from seeing evil as they go underground. Fear not their screams and protests – for I see all and my targets are locked on eliminating the worst offenders.

Turn your attention toward anticipating the new beginnings you will enjoy – days without the pressures of racing off to work, sitting in traffic and hearing the constant hum of the electric grid. It’s all going down so you can begin slowing down your minds and heartbeats and lifestyles. Love the ones you’re with, love your neighbors as yourselves, and learn to love living life again, for it is my precious gift to you.

Today’s Written Word

Judges 11:34 NRT When Jephthah came home to Mizpah, there was his daughter hurrying out to meet him, dancing to the rhythm of tambourines. She was his only child; except for her he had no son or daughter.

Ecclesiastes 7:27 – 29 Behold, this have I found, saith the preacher, counting one by one, to find out the account: Which yet my soul seeketh, but I find not: one man among a thousand have I found; but a woman among all those have I not found. Lo, this only have I found, that God hath made man upright; but they have sought out many inventions.

I Kings 8:59 And let these my words, wherewith I have made supplication before the LORD, be nigh unto the LORD our God day and night, that he maintain the cause of his servant, and the cause of his people Israel at all times, as the matter shall require:

Numbers 16:30 NKJV But if the LORD creates a new thing, and the earth opens its mouth and swallows them up with all that belongs to them, and they go down alive into the pit, then you will understand that these men have rejected the LORD.”

Galatians 5:14 For all the law is fulfilled in one word, even in this: “You shall love your neighbor as yourself.

A Word of Encouragement

Hmmmm, Rhythms of Life? God brought to my attention that He mentioned several song titles in this prophecy. First: Counting the Days, by Collective Soul. Second: Don’t be afraid of the dark by Tom Odell. Third: Stop, look around, by Ricci Martin. Fourth: Love the One Your With, by Stephen Stills. After listening to all four of these songs, I was again astounded at the wisdom and awesomeness of our God! They are all about celebrating the new, the good, and not fearing the dark or loss, or the changing seasons and times. God is omniscient, omnipresent and omnipotent. Praise our very clever God!

An Action Item

Let’s start loving life again! God said to invest in what we will need, to count the cost, and to look forward to some rest. Let’s celebrate all the new, dance and sing and rejoice at the deliverance that our mighty God is bringing. It’s time to stop being afraid, to live with purpose and walk in the spirit. To hear God’s leading and obey out of love for our fellow man, for ourselves and for our Lord. He is targeting the evil and sending them underground! Praise God for making a way for us to live in joy again, for He is good always!
