God speaks a prophetic word to the Disobedient:

Cry aloud, weep and howl – for the judgment of the true God has fallen upon the earth. This is that which I spoke of in Daniel and Joel, when I warned of the coming day of judgment. You have seen the glory of my Son and rejected him, now I reject all of you who have sworn allegiance to a life of rebellion. You have left the ways of righteousness to pursue evil and selfish greed. Turn away from all corruption and sin. Run toward me in haste. Your opportunity to live and to repent is vanishing with the fading light, and I will wait no more. 

Who has seduced you into such vile behaviors? Not people. No. But evil spirits who serve the destroyer of life have done this. You were enticed by riches and personal glory at first, and then you turned to committing evil upon your fellow man. Your flesh is but a waste receptacle, and your mouths spew only hate and violence. I am bringing an end to your works upon the earth. The time of judgment and consequence has come home to you. 

And to Mine: Do not sorrow for the lost, my children, but rejoice that some will turn when they see my fury and correction. A loving father will not allow his children to live in harm’s way but will reprove and rebuke them to change and walk in righteousness again. This is that necessary correction. Many of you are living in sin in many areas and have so neglected my Word and my voice that you are not aware of it. Look to me and to the example of my Son to find your way back. This is a final warning, a shockwave so great and devastating that no man can ignore it. Come home to me, my wayward children, and stop this sinful living. Time’s up. Lights out. Game over. 

Today’s Written Word

In Daniel 5, King Belshazzar saw the writing of God’s finger upon the wall, and so they called for Daniel to interpret the meaning:

Daniel 5:12 Forasmuch as an excellent spirit, and knowledge, and understanding, interpreting of dreams, and shewing of hard sentences, and dissolving of doubts, were found in the same Daniel, whom the king named Belteshazzar; now let Daniel be called, and he will shew the interpretation.

Daniel 5:17 Then Daniel answered and said before the king, Let thy gifts be to thyself, and give thy rewards to another; yet I will read the writing unto the king, and make known to him the interpretation.

Daniel 5:22,23 a And thou his son, O Belshazzar, hast not humbled thine heart, though thou knewest all this;

But hast lifted up thyself against the Lord of heaven;

Daniel 5:25-28 And this is the writing that was written, MENE, MENE, TEKEL, UPHARSIN. This is the interpretation of the thing: MENE; God hath numbered thy kingdom, and finished it. TEKEL; Thou art weighed in the balances, and art found wanting. PERES; Thy kingdom is divided, and given to the Medes and Persians.

Joel 3:13,14 Put ye in the sickle, for the harvest is ripe: come, get you down; for the press is full, the fats overflow; for their wickedness is great.

Multitudes, multitudes in the valley of decision: for the day of the LORD is near in the valley of decision.

Joel 3:20,21 But Judah shall dwell for ever, and Jerusalem from generation to generation. For I will cleanse their blood that I have not cleansed: for the LORD dwelleth in Zion.

A Word of Encouragement

We are loved by our forgiving heavenly Father, and so He corrects and rebukes us when we have strayed. He said that many have so neglected His word and His voice, that they are not even aware that they are living in sin. He is calling all of us to awaken to righteousness and turn to Him. We can make changes today. As we sit in prayer and repent (turn from self willed to obedient in Christ) we can ask God to forgive us and He will do it. John 1:19 If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just to forgive us our sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness.

An Action Item

Today God said to: “Turn away from all corruption and sin. Run toward me in haste. Your opportunity to live and to repent is vanishing with the fading light, and I will wait no more.”  Let’s encourage others to do what we are doing and invite them to turn away from all sin and turn toward our loving Father God!
