Jesus Christ speaks prophecy of the harvest:
Today is a big day to turn and burn – we are turning up the heat and burning up the chaff. No one collects the chaff to keep it. It is to be burned because it is a waste product from the fields. The fields of the world are filled with both good grain and chaff, and it is now the time of harvest. My Father has sent me to go and gather the good seeds. Are you ready for the reaping? What fruit have you grown and what report can I give of your work upon the earth? Is this your final day or the last opportunity to work righteousness and do good? No. That day is not yet, but it is coming soon. Blessed are those servants, whom I shall find watching when I come.
Consider the seeds and tares. Some are meant for good and some for evil. It is a great contrast to examine a life filled with good versus one that was wasted. Those who have chosen selfishness and darkness will end up there. You who look to the light of God and walk in my ways of righteousness will shine forth as the new day dawns. This is an opportunity to plant new seeds from the old grains.
How is it that grain reproduces from one season to the next, one generation to the next? You are the good grain and the seeds of change, my brethren. You are those who are called to glory and who will lead the way to our Father’s heart. A great harvest can come over and over again as our Father brings light and heat, summer and winter and turning and burning. The soil is the earth and you are charged with the new plantings. Fear not the loss of the old. Some good grain will now be reserved, for he will gather that which has been spent and served out its usefulness. The fresh seed will go on into a new season, one of great growth and change. Be new, plant new, expect a great increase and an acceleration of seed time and harvest. The reapers have already been sent and the sorting and sifting has begun. Once night falls, only the new will go into the next season.
Today’s Written Word
Luke 12:37 Blessed are those servants, whom the lord, when he cometh shall find watching:
Matthew 13:37 – 43 He answered and said to them: “He who sows the good seed is the Son of Man.
“The field is the world, the good seeds are the sons of the kingdom, but the tares are the sons of the wicked one.
“The enemy who sowed them is the devil, the harvest is the end of the age, and the reapers are the angels.
“Therefore as the tares are gathered and burned in the fire, so it will be at the end of this age.
“The Son of Man will send out His angels, and they will gather out of His kingdom all things that offend, and those who practice lawlessness.
“and will cast them into the furnace of fire. There will be wailing and gnashing of teeth.
“Then the righteous will shine forth as the sun in the kingdom of their Father. He who has ears to hear, let him hear!
A Word of Encouragement
Well, the Lord says it’s time to gather up the chaff and burn it. He also said that the angels who will do the reaping have already been sent out to collect the chaff. We are the ones who walk in the light of God and will plant new seeds for the new era and lead others to the Father’s heart. There are many keys revealed in this prophecy about what is coming. Please be encouraged, activated in your service, and at peace obeying and knowing the Lord we serve.
An Action Item
II Corinthians 5:17 NLT says: This means that anyone who belongs to Christ has become a new person. The old life is gone; a new life has begun!
With all this talk about being new, and planting new, and being new and wild, this verse was a great blessing. New = kainos, meaning: new, which is recently made is superior to what it succeeds. We are new in Christ, having received eternal life, holy spirit within. Let’s get out today and tell some people about our wonderful Lord Jesus Christ!
