Today’s Living Word – A New Blessing

5–7 minutes

Christ speaks prophecy of being new:

What is a blessing? Is it something that makes your life easier, or is it a challenge that helps you rise up in your trust and confidence in me, your Lord? How do you build faith? By praying in the spirit, yes. You also increase your faith through trials and temptations. When life becomes unbearable – I will be your rescuer. When all is lost, I will find you and deliver you from all your sorrows and all your cares. Life is about to change in dramatic and unimaginable ways. FEAR NOT the changes but only look to me and our God to help in times of need and answer in peace against all confusion. I say FEAR NOT my brethren, for the hype and the images, and the false glory of the darkness will try to overwhelm you. IT IS ALL FALSE!

You are not alone. You are not forsaken. You are God’s beloved and He is your peace, supply and deliverance. He has placed a mighty host of heavenly angels about you now to protect, direct and deliver as the great shaking begins. No, you will not be shaken, but all that is evil around you, will be. The great pillars of education and media are falling now. Those giants that controlled what you saw and what was fed to your children are about to be crushed to powder. Will there be a mess to clean up when the old falls and crumbles – yes. But you are able to clean up, clear out and rebuild!

It is a blessing to move into a new house, one that is clean and freshly painted with all new furnishings and appliances. You know all is new and all the lights and plumbing and wiring are up to code and ready for use. God is moving into a new house. His home- the church, has been defiled by worldly sin and compromise, and he is tearing down all the old ways to build anew. Be new now, my brethren. Leave those old churches, old doctrines, old ways of living and serving, and be wilderness seekers. Hear my voice and step out of the old and into the new. Find your blessings in my adventure training. It will not be easy, but you will be well blessed for your courageous move from the old to the new. Be WILD, be God’s new home. Be not old and tired, but be new and wild!

Today’s Written Word

I Timothy 3:15 But if I tarry long, that thou mayest know how thou oughtest to behave thyself in the HOUSE of God, which is the church of the living God, the pillar and ground of the truth.

I Corinthians 3:16 Know ye not that ye are the temple of God, and that the Spirit of God dwelleth in you?

Colossians 2:7 NLT Let your roots grow down into him, and let your lives be built on him. Then your faith will grow strong in the truth you were taught, and you will overflow with thankfulness.

Psalm 35:11 False witnesses did rise up; they laid to my charge things that I knew not.

I John 4:1 Beloved, believe not every spirit, but try the spirits whether they are of God: because many false prophets are gone out into the world.

II Corintians 3:6 Who also hath made us able ministers of the NEW testament; not of the letter, but of the spirit: for the letter killeth, but the spirit giveth life.

II Corinthians 5:17 Therefore if any man be in Christ, he is a new creature: old things are passed away; behold, all things are become new.

Ezekiel 18:31 Cast away from you all your transgressions, whereby ye have transgressed; and make you a new heart and a new spirit: for why will ye die, O house of Israel?

Hebrews 8:8 For finding fault with them, he saith, Behold, the days come, saith the Lord, when I will make a new covenant with the house of Israel and with the house of Judah:

A Word of Encouragement

Who doesn’t love a new house?! Some of you have actually moved into a brand new home, with all the fresh paint, new appliances and lovely upgrades. We can imagine how lovely Jesus can make us when He moves in and cleans up, replaces, and removes all the old “stuff” in our temples. Our Lord Christ, and our God dwell in righteousness and truth. We are the church today, and as we decide to submit and obey to their leading, we can toss out the old ways. We can clear out wrong doctrines that do not align with the written scriptures, dead religious teachings, and all the old and destructive lies in education and media that were promoted by evil. Yeah, let’s move into the new!

An Action Item

Christ directs us to be new and wild (Websters: living or growing in the natural environment; not domesticated or cultivated), not old and tired. We often call an out of style or worn out piece of clothing “tired”. It is time to toss the old. As we start to ask of our Lord, what needs to go from my home, from my thinking, in my habits, we will feel his leading as we listen for his voice. This is a courageous way to live, and can be a slow and gentle process, or perhaps more like a change tornado. The key to being ready to go out into our wild new wilderness training is traveling light. Be light hearted, filled with light, and lighten the load in every category of life. Now is the time for the new church to arise and shine. Let’s drop the old, toss out the old, and be renewed in him!
