Today’s Living Word – See in the Spirit

4–6 minutes

Jesus Christ speaks prophecy to give life:

Come now, my brethren, and be in the house of our Father. Come in where there is peace and safety and much bountiful supply. Come near and sit at his throne and dine at his table. Enjoy the banquet he has prepared and taste of his goodness and all the delicacies he has planned to be prepared for you to enjoy and delighted by. See the draperies and tapestries woven with gold and died of pomegranate and feel the gentle breeze of his breath to refresh your spirits as you sit and recline in His presence. Be in me as I am in Him, and come away to our true heavenly home. You are welcome anytime, for we are family.

Where is this place of bounty and rest, you ask? How do we find our way and where is the key to unlock the gates? Come and I will show you the way. Come up to your home away from troubles and woes and rest in the heavenly mansion of our Maker and Provider. He has called you up and into His presence. Only the true vine and branches may dwell in the vineyards of God, and only we who are pure and holy may connect with the root and life that flows from His eternal fountain of Life

You who are faithful – dig down and be nourished. You who are seeking, reach up and be planted from above. Now is the day of your refreshing. Now is the breaking forth of heavenly seeds. Now is the day of heavenly lives being released upon earthly vessels. Pull them down from our Father and get busy passing them out to the dead and dying, for they are without life, without hope, and without knowledge of how to be delivered. Go now, my army of light, and deliver the life eternal into the empty and waste places. Speak life and blow the breath of God upon them. As you have received, give. As you have been raised – raise them up. As you live above the earth – lead them to heavenly lives. Give, shine, live!

Today’s Written Word

Genesis 28:17 AMP So he was afraid and said, “How fearful and awesome is this place! This is none other than the house of God, and this is the gateway to heaven.”

Acts 7:49 Heaven is my throne, and earth is my footstool: what house will ye build me? saith the Lord: or what is the place of my rest?

II Corinthians 5:2 For in this we groan, earnestly desiring to be clothed upon with our house which is from heaven:

Galatians 2:20 I am crucified with Christ: nevertheless I live; yet not I, but Christ liveth in me: and the life which I now live in the flesh I live by the faith of the Son of God, who loved me, and gave himself for me.

John 4:14 NASB20 but whoever drinks of the water that I will give him shall never be thirsty; but the water that I will give him will become in him a fountain of water springing up to eternal life.”

Ephesians 3:17 – 19 That Christ may dwell in your hearts by faith;  that ye, being rooted and grounded in love, May be able to comprehend with all saints what is the breadth, and length, and depth, and height; And to know the love of Christ, which passeth  knowledge, that ye might be filled with all the fulness of God.

Luke 11:3 If ye then, being evil, know how to give good gifts unto your children: how much more shall your heavenly Father give the Holy Spirit to them that ask him?

John 3:15 That whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have  eternal life.

John 12:50 NASB20 “And I know that His commandment is eternal life; therefore the things I speak, I speak just as the Father has told Me.”

A Word of Encouragement

Many times throughout the written scriptures God has given spiritual visions and insight of the heavens to people upon the earth. In Genesis 28 Jacob saw a ladder going into heaven with angels ascending and descending, and prophecy of the land God had given him. In Revelation, John writes of the many future events and places God revealed to him. In Acts 7, Stephen looked and saw heaven and the glory of God, and Jesus standing at his right hand. Jesus Christ says we can look and see, so we will.

An Action Item

The best we understand “seeing in the spirit” is that it is much like hearing or activating any of our spiritual senses. To hear God we receive a thought in our spirit (usually not an audible sound). As we learn the voice of God, and the voice of Christ, we become more and more clear and adept to hear easily and clearly. To see in the spirit we request of God to open the eyes of our understanding to see in the spirit, or to gain an impression of what is going on spiritually. This could be communicated by vision, smell, taste, touch, thoughts or hearing. Ezekiel 4 and Daniel 11 are both great examples of seeing in the spirit.
