God speaks prophecy to encourage us to be real with Him :

Tell me of your woes and concerns. Come to me in quiet and sit awhile, my beloved. Be near me, your loving Father, and let me lift your heavy burdens. I am a great and mighty God and also a personal and tender Father to each of you. Share with me your cares and worries and let me answer your cry for help. Be truthful and direct with me when you speak, as families do. You do not need to clean up, or pretty up the battles you are in or the ways you are living. I know all, and see all, and still I love you without measure or restraint. Be honest when you are losing against addictions to food, alcohol, and slothfulness, and I will deliver you. Ask of me, your Creator, and I will give you a way to escape.

You were made for greatness and victory, my beloved, not burdens and shame. Those are garments I did not fashion you to wear, but they are for the evil ones. They promote and commit evil and then try to lay the blame on you. Refuse their accusations and live in righteousness. Little by little, cast off those old garments and old habits and become new in my Son. Christ has made you free. You are not bound by old thoughts of loss and failure, but free to begin a new day in hope and joy. Every day is new, and every sin is washed away in Christ. Be new in him and he will lead you to many victories.

Write down your true goals and take some time to describe the person you desire to be. No, you may not list anything to do with appearances. Write about our relationship and who you are spiritually. What skills do you desire to master and what principles from my word would you like to be proficient in living and sharing with others? Are you called to be a dynamic teacher, healer, evangelist, or one who cares for those lost in poverty? Do you see yourself as a mighty warrior in the spirit, setting free those taken captive by devils? Your spiritual self is your true self, my children. Rise up to the eternal life assignments I have given you and overcome every challenge with the power in my words. They are mighty to the pulling down of those strongholds that bind you. Be free today and help to free others from their cares. Come to me and I will help you.

Romans 5:5 And hope maketh not ashamed; because the love of God is shed abroad in our hearts by the Holy Ghost which is given unto us.

I Corinthians 2:9 But as it is written, Eye hath not seen, nor ear heard, neither have entered into the heart of man, the things which God hath prepared for them that love him.

I John 4:9 In this was manifested the love of God toward us, because that God sent his only begotten Son into the world, that we might live through him.

I Corinthians 10:13 There hath no temptation taken you but such as is common to man: but God is faithful, who will not suffer you to be tempted above that ye are able; but will with the temptation also make a way to escape, that ye may be able to bear it.

Ephesians 1:4 According as he hath chosen us in him before the foundation of the world, that we should be holy and without blame before him in love:

Isaiah 1:18 Come now, and let us reason together, saith the LORD: though your sins be as scarlet, they shall be as white as snow; though they be red like crimson, they shall be as wool.

Colossians 2:13 And you, being dead in your sins and the uncircumcision of your flesh, hath he quickened together with him, having forgiven you all trespasses;

John 8:36 If the Son therefore shall make you free, ye shall be free indeed.

A Word of Encouragement

God’s encouragement to be honest with Him when we are struggling is very inviting. We can pour out our hearts to Him in prayer and fellowship and He will make a way for us to overcome. It is in our open and full sharing with our Heavenly Father that we realize we are not divulging any secret He does not already know about and is already aware of us battling against. He has the way to escape and the answer of peace in every challenge. We can ask for His help.

An Action Item

God also spoke of every day being new in Christ, for we are washed clean by his blood and every sin is forgiven! Every one means even the super ugly, super secret ones. We are delivered today and every past mistake has been forgiven and forgotten by God through the payment of Jesus Christ. Let’s write down our spiritual goals and run forward in Christ to become who God has called us to be!
