God speaks prophecy of His deliverance to come:

What is my way of living? How do I direct your steps and decisions? Am I the God of having more and going faster, or of having enough and being peaceful. Be at peace in me, my children. Be resting and relying upon your maker and creator of life. I have designed it for you to be blessed and well supplied and I know your needs and cares. Come to me in peace and look to the records in my word for examples of my supply and provision in times of need.

What did the children of Israel need? Freedom from bondage, yes, and I made a way by signs and wonders to show my power. When they were hungry and thirsty – I fed them with manna and sweet water from a rock. When you are naked, I clothe you. When you are hungry, I will feed you, and when you need water I will show you the way. Ask of me now, my children, what you will need for your journey through the wilderness. Come to me with expectation and peace and sit at my feet to hear wisdom and knowledge before the great shaking begins.

You who can hear are in a position of grace and mercy, for my words of warning and preparation have been heeded by you. You will sit in peace when judgment comes and not be afraid, because you will know the storms of violence and rage are upon the evil. Do not be pressured to look to see their destruction nor participate in the frenzy of gathering during the storms. Stay in and far from danger when the darkness falls upon your land. Be not deceived by false signs and wonders, but trust in me, Your God of true peace and supply.

Remember my goodness when you are tempted to fear. Remember the miracle of multiplication of the loves and fishes and the filling of Simon’s boat with fish. Look to the records of healings when my son demonstrated my mercy upon the lepers and demon possessed. I am the God of abundance and healing. Only good will I give to you, and only peace will you find in my presence. Be near me now, my beloved, and hold fast to the truth I have spoken. Fear not, but only believe and you shall see my glory.

Today’s Written Word

Exodus 16:11-15 And the LORD spake unto Moses, saying,

I have heard the murmurings of the children of Israel: speak unto them, saying, At even ye shall eat flesh, and in the morning ye shall be filled with bread; and ye shall know that I am the LORD your God.

And it came to pass, that at even the quails came up, and covered the camp: and in the morning the dew lay round about the host.

And when the dew that lay was gone up, behold, upon the face of the wilderness there lay a small round thing, as small as the hoar frost on the ground.

And when the children of Israel saw it, they said one to another, It is manna: for they wist not what it was. And Moses said unto them, This is the bread which the LORD hath given you to eat.

Numbers 20:8 Take the rod, and gather thou the assembly together, thou, and Aaron thy brother, and speak ye unto the rock before their eyes; and it shall give forth his water, and thou shalt bring forth to them water out of the rock: so thou shalt give the congregation and their beasts drink.

Numbers 20:11 And Moses lifted up his hand, and with his rod he smote the rock twice: and the water came out abundantly, and the congregation drank, and their beasts also.

I Corinthians 15:33 Be not deceived: evil communications corrupt good manners.

Luke 8:50 But when Jesus heard it, he answered him, saying, Fear not: believe only, and she shall be made whole.

A Word of Encouragement

Our God gives us an abundance of supply and always in peace. He is reminding us to sit still and ask Him for wisdom in preparing before the storms, and peace to stay in and away from the frenzy of gathering when the darkness falls. We are safe in God’s peace and preparation.

An Action Item

We are told to read the records of God’s provision in times of need. Moses obeyed God and received an abundance of quail, manna and water in the wilderness for well over a million people, day after week after year! These are records of real people in desperate situations, who prayed and received real food and water in times of need. Let’s obey and REALLY read those records to build our faith before we need to receive God’s help and peace.

Praise God for an abundance of peace has come. Families are reporting answers to prayer for their children being blessed and finding housing, freedom from difficult relationships, and financial relief. Praise God for He is good always!
