Jesus Christ speaks prophecy to call us to maturity:

I speak to those who sit with me in silence and seek to receive my wisdom. I will not throw out my precious revelation like candy at a parade to screaming children. Stand up and become responsible adults now, my people. Do not shrink in fear or hide your face from me because of unbelief, but come now and listen. You are mature in the scriptures, but many do not walk in harmony with me in practice. Learn the application of the words of life from me, your Lord.

What good is a famous cake recipe if you never bake the cake and enjoy eating it? Your drawers and cupboards are overflowing with recipes that you never use! There is too much study and gathering of truth and sharing of recipes, and far too little action. This is the time for action. Ask of me in prayer and meditation upon the words I speak. Do as I lead. You are able ministers and all I request, you can do. Stop derailing my efforts to save and deliver, by your inaction. Get up and go out and speak.

When lightning strikes, there is a loud crack of light and sound, and all look to see. Be as lightning! Speak of me with power, and strike with precision. Get moving and expect to see great deliverance in all those you touch with my love and power. Speak with boldness and authority to release the hostages of satan. He has no power against me, and I stand with you and move in you at all times. Hear ye my voice of deliverance, and speak out what I speak in your ear. Say, “demons go” and they will obey, for they will see me standing behind you. They will cower at my presence and flee at my name.

None can stand against me. I have overcome every principality and power in both the heavenlies and the Earth. The spirits obey my voice, and must also obey all you speak as I lead you. Know who you are, my brethren. Know what great power and authority you have, and rise up to use it now! Start gathering and stirring up all who will come and hear, and watch my church rise to new heights in glory and power. Now is the time, let’s heat things up and get cooking!

Today’s Written Word

Ephesians 4:13, 14, 15 Till we all come in the unity of the faith, and of the knowledge of the Son of God, unto a perfect man, (mature) unto the measure of the stature of the fulness of Christ:

That we henceforth be no more children, tossed to and fro, and carried about with every wind of doctrine, by the sleight of men, and cunning craftiness, whereby they lie in wait to deceive;

But speaking the truth in love, may grow up into him in all things, which is the head, even Christ:

Hebrews 6:1 Therefore leaving the principles of the doctrine of Christ, let us go on unto perfection; (maturity) not laying again the foundation of repentance from dead works, and of faith toward God,

James 2:17 NIV In the same way, faith by itself, if it is not accompanied by action, is dead.

James 1:22 But be ye doers of the word, and not hearers only, deceiving your own selves.

Luke 17:24 For as the lightning, that lighteneth out of the one part under heaven, shineth unto the other part under heaven; so shall also the Son of man be in his day.

Colossians 2:15 And having spoiled principalities and powers, he made a shew of them openly, triumphing over them in it.

Ephesians 6:12 For we wrestle not against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this world, against spiritual wickedness in high places.

A Word of Encouragement

Our Lord is telling us that some of us have too many recipes that we are not baking up into cakes to eat and enjoy. Who wants some cake?! When my mom passed, she left many many boxes of dessert and cake recipes. As wonderful as they all are, they can only be enjoyed by putting the ingredients together and baking them up. Even after baking the cakes and treats, if they sat on the table and were not eaten, they would not be fully enjoyed. Let’s eat the words of Christ and process the power and dominion we have by releasing his power. Let’s be as lightning!
