Jesus Christ speaks to those who seek the truth:
Watch and see me move against the darkness, my people. I am churning up the evil sludge that is hidden in the depths below, and when it is all above and upon the surface, I will light a flaming fire (II Thess.1:6-10) to burn up all that is not of me. You will witness raging flames as they consume every evil doctrine, building and foundation that was not laid by me. Stand and behold the glory of our God upon the earth as He moves in cleansing all that is of the darkness from the face of your planet. We are the good and righteous; we who hear His voice and obey his leading. FEAR NOT, my brethren, for you are in safety as you walk in me. Fear not, I say again, FEAR NOT!
Reach out to rescue the ones who are flailing in the stormy seas. Help them find the safe harbor of my love and peace that only I can give. As they SEE with their eyes what will surely look like Armageddon, YOU will speak of peace and safety. YOU will be a voice of tranquility, and YOU will be those who know me and can teach of the heavenly realm to give others understanding. You who are awake and hearing can speak a mature word in season to uplift the weary. My arms are open to all. Be ready with your hearts tuned to mine so you may hit the mark and win every race in this very intense time of competing for souls.
What is a soul worth? What amount of time, love, effort, or sacrifice is reasonable to give in order to save one of our family from eternal death. Will you ready your wheelhouse of thoughts and actions to turn toward my direction and leading? Will you be the brave and bold few who stand up and speak courageously against the tyranny of death and despair? You who are mine are the hope for a bright and glorious future! You who have the faith to move mountains to the sea and to speak food into empty pots, you who are now receiving great wealth of knowledge and understanding to overcome all, YOU are the righteous, redeemed, recovery team I am sending out after the storms. Rest now and prepare to remove mountains.
Today’s Written Word
With all the prophetic words of navigation, obedience, stormy seas, and serving our fellow man in challenging times, we are sharing some highlights from the scriptures about Jonah. Please enjoy reading the book in it’s entirety, it’s really good!
Jonah 1:1-4 Now the word of the LORD came unto Jonah the son of Amittai, saying,
Arise, go to Nineveh, that great city, and cry against it; for their wickedness is come up before me.
But Jonah rose up to flee unto Tarshish from the presence of the LORD, and went down to Joppa; and he found a ship going to Tarshish: so he paid the fare thereof, and went down into it, to go with them unto Tarshish from the presence of the LORD.
But the LORD sent out a great wind into the sea, and there was a mighty tempest in the sea, so that the ship was like to be broken.
Jonah 1:12 ,15 And he said unto them, Take me up, and cast me forth into the sea; so shall the sea be calm unto you: for I know that for my sake this great tempest is upon you.
So they took up Jonah, and cast him forth into the sea: and the sea ceased from her raging.
Jonah 1:17 Now the LORD had prepared a great fish to swallow up Jonah. And Jonah was in the belly of the fish three days and three nights.
Jonah 2:2 And said, I cried by reason of mine affliction unto the LORD, and he heard me; out of the belly of hell cried I, and thou heardest my voice.
Jonah 2:7 When my soul fainted within me I remembered the LORD: and my prayer came in unto thee, into thine holy temple.
Jonah 2:9,10 But I will sacrifice unto thee with the voice of thanksgiving; I will pay that that I have vowed. Salvation is of the LORD.
And the LORD spake unto the fish, and it vomited out Jonah upon the dry land.
Jonah 3:4, 6, 10 And Jonah began to enter into the city a day’s journey, and he cried, and said, Yet forty days, and Nineveh shall be overthrown.
For word came unto the king of Nineveh, and he arose from his throne, and he laid his robe from him, and covered him with sackcloth, and sat in ashes.
And God saw their works, that they turned from their evil way; and God repented (turned away from) of the evil, that he had said that he would do unto them; and he did it not.
A Word of Encouragement
The book of Jonah is only four chapters, about 30 minutes to read. God tells the prophet to go to Nineveh and proclaim that the people must repent within 40 days, or God will overthrow it for their wickedness. Jonah runs from God’s command, gets swallowed by a big fish, and finally obeys after much disobedience. Then after the people DO repent and turn from their wickedness, Jonah is angry with God for saving them. Jonah 4:11 says God spared over 60 thousand people out of His mercy who “could not discern their right hand from their left”, meaning they were not spiritually aware. We can see the same in our world today, as we pray for God’s mercy, let’s continue to draw nearer to Him and obey quickly.
An Action Item
A Wheelhouse is “an enclosed room from which a ship or boat is navigated, it’s the shelter where the wheel used for steering the boat is housed or situated”. We are to look to our Lord Jesus Christ to help us navigate the coming storms, and to be well supplied with thoughts and words of peace and hope after the storms pass over. Let’s load up on the word and obey God as Jonah did . . . . . . eventually 🙂
