God speaks prophecy about desires:

What do you desire, my children, fame and fortune, or acceptance and accomplishment? The desires within you for doing good are from me, but those that lead you away from me are not. Most famous people would rather be unknown. Most who have wealth are burdened by too many responsibilities and cares. Learn to walk in a healthy balance and seek those treasures that only I can give. Seek wisdom and understanding so you may walk in my ways. Seek peace in all relationships and conversations so my love may be shown. Seek to serve your fellow man in truth and honesty so that your joy may be full. Your walk with me is not easy, but it offers the greatest rewards.

A retirement planner will lay out an incremental plan to help you prepare financially for your later years on earth, but what of your spiritual life? I have sent my ministers to lead you in new ways and to prepare you for eternity with me. They are called to lead you to a close and loving relationship with me. The greatest leader of all time is my Son. He is your High Priest, the only begotten, your personal mediator and intercessor when you are under attack and feeling lost. He is the way to me and a bridge from the physical realm to the spiritual and supernatural.

Lean on your Savior now, my children. Lay your lives down in service to him and allow him to be your fearless leader. Submit to his leading and be willing to do all I ask according to his direction of your will. For he walks in perfect obedience to me, and all he speaks to you is of me and from me. You can trust him with your lives. So lay them down in service to me and renew all in the spirit of loving obedience. One man’s sacrifice is another man’s joy. What is beyond your ability today, may become a polished skill tomorrow. Seek to grow in skill and understanding, and to have strength in your spiritual walk so you may have power to bless and give. As my Son has devoted his life to give help and healing to all, so follow his example and grow up into him in all things, especially in your spirit.

Today’s Written Word

Psalm 37:4 Delight thyself also in the LORD; and he shall give thee the desires (G2309, the will/desire) of thine heart.

Philippians 2:13 For it is God which worketh in you both to will^G2309 (will/desire) and to do of his good pleasure.

Galatians 1:7 Which is not another; but there be some that trouble you, and would^G2309 (will / desire) pervert the gospel of Christ.

Hebrews 5:5 So also Christ glorified not himself to be made an high priest; but he that said unto him, Thou art my Son, to day have I begotten thee.

I Timothy 2:5 For there is one God, and one mediator between God and men, the man Christ Jesus;

Isaiah 59:16 And he saw that there was no man, and wondered that there was no intercessor: therefore his arm brought salvation unto him; and his righteousness, it sustained him.

I John 2:1 AMP My little children (believers, dear ones), I am writing you these things so that you will not sin. And if anyone sins, we have an Advocate [who will intercede for us] with the Father: Jesus Christ the righteous [the upright, the just One, who conforms to the Father’s will in every way—purpose, thought, and action].

Ephesians 4:15 But speaking the truth in love, may grow up into him in all things, which is the head, even Christ:

A Word of Encouragement

God encourages us to seek to serve our fellow man in truth and honesty so that our joy may be full. We can lean into learning God’s will by studying His word and obeying His leading in our spiritual walks. The greatest treasures are the eternal blessings we seek as we focus on walking in God’s love and light. Eternal blessings come as we build our relationship with God and walk with our Lord Jesus Christ. He is the greatest leader, the head of the body of Christ, our perfect example of a sinless man. Christ is our mediator, High Priest, and Advocate with the Father. As we develop our spiritual walk IN Christ, we draw nearer to fulfilling the desires of God’s heart for each of us who are called.

An Action Item

God asks us to “learn to walk in a healthy balance and seek those treasures that only He can give”. What does God give to us as we make our will His will? Peace, love, joy, and all of the fruit of the spirit: longsuffering, gentleness, goodness, faith, meekness, temperance. Ask a faithful Christian who knows us personally “how is my fruit lately, and am I manifesting good spiritual fruit”? He also promises eternal rewards for our submission to Him in Christ. Those spiritual treasures like crowns of glory, and the reward of our inheritance like in Col.3:24. Hebrews 10:35, II John 1:8, Rev. 11:18. Let’s seek heavenly treasures today!

I believer had the opportunity to stop the rain, by following the Lord’s lead and commanding it to stop. God is always good and we can praise Him for His protection in every situation.
