Today’s Living Word – Harmonious Melody

4–6 minutes

Christ speaks to his living church:

I speak to those who have turned their ears to hear, their eyes to see, and their hearts to be filled by me. I am the Lord of the living church, and of those who have made their abode in me. I am the Messiah, the one who saves all who call upon my name.

In trouble and desperation, you reach out and I am there. In the darkest of nights and the deepest of depressions, I am there. When sorrows roll upon your hearts, I will uplift you, and when death comes and none can save, I will rescue you. I am your mountaintop experience and will lift you above the clouds. I am victorious over death and hell, for I have shown myself obedient in all things.

Come into harmony with me, your ascended Christ, for I have seen heaven and visited hell. Death has no hold on those who are mine. Be mine by choice my brethren. Choose to do all I inspire as we walk together and lift yourselves higher each day you draw breath upon the earth. Every moment is an opportunity to be in harmony with me and our Father. What tune do you sing and what key are you living in? Like a sweet and soothing melody that repeats in your thoughts, we are calling to all to get into sync and tune into our spiritual vibrations. Change the channel. Tune out the evil. Seek light, peace, and glory. Be in me and invite me into your disjointed, out of sync hearts and I will orchestrate a new and glorious life as your conductor.

Many of you have layers of talents that you have not discovered. They are laying dormant under the darkness of this world, like a seed that has not been given light nor water. Open your heart to me, my people, and I will guide you to see the treasures within. All is not lost, time is not up for you. Your past is gone and a new day has dawned. This is the day for which you were made. For this hour and time have you practiced and struggled to arise and shine. Shine forth now my church. Be in my way of holiness and glory. Be brilliant, harmonious, and in tune with God’s heavenly plan for each of you.

Today’s Written Word

II Corinthians 13:11 NLT Dear brothers and sisters, I close my letter with these last words: Be joyful. Grow to maturity. Encourage each other. Live in harmony and peace. Then the God of love and peace will be with you.

Colossians 3:14 NLT Above all, clothe yourselves with love, which binds us all together in perfect harmony.

I Peter 2:8,9 NET

Finally, all of you be harmonious, sympathetic, affectionate, compassionate, and humble.

Do not return evil for evil or insult for insult, but instead bless others because you were called to inherit a blessing.

I Corinthians 14:15 What is it then? I will pray with the spirit, and I will pray with the understanding also: I will sing with the spirit, and I will sing with the understanding also.

Isaiah 52:9 Break forth into joy, sing together, ye waste places of Jerusalem: for the LORD hath comforted his people, he hath redeemed Jerusalem.

Romans 12:5 So we, being many, are one body in Christ, and every one members one of another.

I Corinthians 2:15b But we have the mind of Christ.

I Corinthians 1:2 Unto the church of God which is at Corinth, to them that are sanctified in Christ Jesus, called to be saints, with all that in every place call upon the name of Jesus Christ our Lord, both theirs and ours:

A Word of Encouragement

As we grow up into Christ our Lord, we learn more and more how to harmonize with him. A word slips out that is not edifying, and we feel correction to do better next time. Our prayers become two way conversations with our Heavenly Father and we hear clearly His loving encouragements. We are weeding out the negatives, the evil and darkness of the world. More and more we abide in Christ by choice. As a beautiful symphony, the body of Christ comes together to harmonize in the ONE Body. Let’s do our utmost to walk in the spirit and live love and truth. We can do it for we have the mind of Christ!

An Action Item

Colossians 2:2,3 says: That their hearts might be comforted, being knit together in love, and unto all riches of the full assurance of understanding, to the acknowledgement of the mystery of God the Father, and of Christ; In whom are hid all the treasures of wisdom and knowledge.

Christ said as we open our hearts to him, he will reveal the treasures within us. In Colossians two, the word treasures means: the place in which good and precious things are collected and laid up, a treasury. As we give ourselves wholly to Christ, without reservation, and in complete submission, he delivers us.
