Jesus Christ speaks prophecy to his church:

What title do you claim most often, and what is your true identity? You say “hello, my name is ________ , and I am ________.” Does the word Christian come up first, or child of God, or a minister for Christ? It should, for that is your true identity. The things you do while on this planet are temporal and are done to support and sustain life. Those jobs are not your identity. You are spiritual beings, and those who are mine, are of God and are His living temple. Have you ever introduced yourself as the temple of the one true God?! It’s true. You are also an ambassador for Christ and a minister for me who heals the sick and casts out devils.

I have sent many mantels of ordination to my church. Some you have recognized, and some have yet to be revealed. Some of you are timid and still trying out and honing your spiritual skills in their operation. There is no more time for holding them to yourselves. Now is the time to walk in my giftings and claim your true titles of Pastor, Prophet, Evangelist, Teacher, Herald, Helper, Love giver, Encourager, Healer, Knower, Dreamer, and Visionary. Which is your title and what gifts have you received? Sit with me and ask and I will reveal your true identity so you may walk in newness of life.

Seek the new ways of living now. Seek what is different and fresh. Get out of the norm and step into your future. A young child is cute and refreshing while they are young and growing and learning, but a 30-something who behaves as a child is not. Many of my brethren are not mature and are still learning to walk and talk with me. Teach them how to hear and obey my voice. Show them your true identity and release my power with confidence and joy. I have not come to burden you, my brethren, but to free you to live in peace and daily rejoicing. The hardest part of maturing spiritually is being brave enough to step forward in faith. Trust me to lead you, for I am your sure footing, your confidence and Lord, your Messiah and your deliverer.

I Peter 2:9,10

But ye are a chosen generation, a royal priesthood, an holy nation, a peculiar people; that ye should shew forth the praises of him who hath called you out of darkness into his marvelous light:

Which in time past were not a people, but are now the people of God: which had not obtained mercy, but now have obtained mercy.

I Corinthians 3:16 Know ye not that ye are the temple of God, and that the Spirit of God dwelleth in you?

II Corinthians 5:20 Now then we are ambassadors for Christ, as though God did beseech you by us: we pray you in Christ’s stead, be ye reconciled to God.

Romans 13:6 For for this cause pay ye tribute also: for they are God’s ministers, attending continually upon this very thing.

I Corinthians 4:1 Let a man so account of us, as of the ministers of Christ, and stewards of the mysteries of God.

Romans 6:4 Therefore we are buried with him by baptism into death: that like as Christ was raised up from the dead by the glory of the Father, even so we also should walk in newness of life.

Ephesians 4:15 But speaking the truth in love, may grow up into him in all things, which is the head, even Christ:

A Word of Encouragement

It’s good to know who we are, and even better knowing we are God’s children and part of His eternal family. We are ambassadors and ministers for our Lord Jesus Christ. He has sent new mantles and given us a list of those that he has given to us now. We are challenged to come unto our Lord and ask him to reveal our giftings and ask him how to walk in the mantles he has sent. The time is now to walk in his leading and release the mighty power we have in him.

An Action Item

Let’s be brave and rise up to the spiritual identities that Christ has given us to walk in. We can lead others in learning how to listen and obey Christ’s voice so they to can learn their true identities. This is a clear and necessary part of our ability to rule and reign in Christ. We must hear his voice and willingly follow his leading. Life is dynamic, challenging and today is becoming more and more dangerous without the insight from our Lord. We can walk in newness of life, and we can mature more and more spiritually as we choose to obey Christ. We have confidence in him who has and will deliver us.
