Today’s Living Word – Listen, Obey, Submit, Thrive, Win!

5–7 minutes

God speaks prophecy to the meek:

I speak to those who hear and obey me now in these last days. Who will turn to hear my voice and who will carry out my words? This walk of grace is in Christ and not of your own choosing. How did you get to be in the family of God? Was it by your efforts or your wisdom? No! It was through my Son’s obedience and great sacrifice. He so loved that he gave his life for you. He suffered and gave up his life so that you may live eternally. What have you sacrificed for him? Do you spend hours studying my words so you may understand the power and life he delivered to you? Yes, some do! You are a studious bunch. Do you sit for long hours in prayer to really connect with me, your God and Father? No. Very few of you have discovered the joy in that connection and the sweet fellowship with me.

I know all and see all, and I am here waiting for you to come to my throne of grace and submit yourselves to me. When you do all will change. Your spirit will see clearly, and I will send wisdom and understanding in floods of joy over your soul. Run toward me, my sweet children, and ask me what my will is for each of you today. Do all as a new child in a new world. Start again in the direction I send you. Many are living amiss. Stop running after empty careers in places that do not reflect my ways.

Stand still and behold the glory of your God, for I am mighty even to the pulling down of strongholds. Hear and do all I direct you to. Even if it sounds fantastic or silly. I will lead my true and faithful to new heights in my service. This is a time of new beginnings for all who will humble themselves before me. Listen, obey, submit, thrive, win!

Today’s Written Word

Hear and Obey: Psalm 18:44 As soon as they hear of me, they shall obey me: the strangers shall submit themselves unto me.

James 2:5 Listen, my beloved brethren: Has God not chosen the poor of this world to be rich in faith and heirs of the kingdom which He promised to those who love Him?

Christ’s Obedience: II Corinthians 10:5 Casting down imaginations, and every high thing that exalteth itself against the knowledge of God, and bringing into captivity every thought to the obedience of Christ;

Submit to God: James 4:7 Submit yourselves therefore to God. Resist the devil, and he will flee from you.

See in Spirit: Ephesians 1:18 The eyes of your understanding being enlightened; that ye may know what is the hope of his calling, and what the riches of the glory of his inheritance in the saints,

Acts 26:18 To open their eyes, and to turn them from darkness to light, and from the power of Satan unto God, that they may receive forgiveness of sins, and inheritance among them which are sanctified by faith that is in me.

Strongholds: Daniel 11:24 “He shall enter peaceably, even into the richest places of the province; and he shall do what his fathers have not done, nor his forefathers: he shall disperse among them the plunder, spoil, and riches; and he shall devise his plans against the strongholds, but only for a time.

New heights of victory: Isaiah 41:2 Who stirred up one from the east whom victory meets at every step? He gives up nations before him, so that he tramples kings underfoot; he makes them like dust with his sword, like driven stubble with his bow.
Philippians 2:10 at the name of Jesus every knee should bow.

A Word of Encouragement

God said to submit to him and all will change. To submit is the Greek word hypotassō, which is number G5293 in Strong’s Greek Dictionary. It is defined as: to willingly obey, or to yield to one’s admonition or advice. We can choose to turn to God and ask for His help, His advice, His revealing of what is real and false, and what His will is for our futures. He said that once we yield to His leading, we will see clearly by the spirit. God has given us all free will, and we have a choice to obey Him and be blessed, or not. Let’s run toward God and His will, so He can open our spiritual eyes!

An Action Item

We are called to hear and do all we are called to by God. Step one: hear. This requires time to listen. We can read the scripture and hear God, the way He speaks to most. We can pray in the spirit and hear God. A faithful brother or sister can speak His will to us, and we can hear God. Some hear in dreams, visions, or see an image of what to do or what is to come. Some write down what God is speaking to them. Find your way, or ways to hear and dedicate some time to hearing. Then do all He reveals to you.

Victories and Blessings

Last week a dear friend shared a victory about how God blessed her. She has been wanting a special purse, one that costs several hundred dollars. She was out doing errands recently and God spoke to her to go into a thrift shop. She obeyed, looked around and didn’t see anything, then heard “look up”. She did and on top of the shelf was a brand new purse for only a few dollars. It was the brand and style she wanted! Praise God for blessing her so personally, for He is good always!

Please share some of your victories, blessings and prayer requests so others can rejoice and believe with you.
