Today’s Living Word – Glory Like a Butterscotch Blanket

4–6 minutes

Christ speaks prophecy to all:

Be bold and courageous my brethren. Fight for your families now. Rise up and speak for me your Christ. Speak for what is right and true and good. Cover the darkness with light and cast it out. Let your families and grandchildren see the goodness of God and the true light He has shed abroad in your hearts. Be happy and joyful as you serve and see the joy and rejoicing that it will bring to others.

When darkness falls be willing to hear and obey. Set your minds like a flint and stand up for truth. Many will cower in fear but you will stand. The mighty warriors are not afraid of the darkness, but take advantage of being able to move in stealth mode. Our God uses the darkness to heal and restore by while many sleep. He will move with a fury not known to your generation in the coming days, and you will be in peace while others are in distress.

Be still when I say wait and move when I say go. Practice hearing clearer now. Practice each day and throughout the day. This is your final training before the storms begin to roar. Use it for your benefit to make ready your storehouses and board up your gates. For the evil will be loosed upon the unsuspecting and disobedient. Remember my words and take shelter from the darkness.

What of this new day you ask? Where is the joy and when will we be happy and healthy? Soon my brethren, very soon our father will come to you. You will receive His gifts in the secret closets of your prayer time and He will pour His mercy and grace over you like a butterscotch blanket it will be palpable and glorious!

Do all you can to prepare. Obey all He speaks to you and all He inspires through me. Multiply your deliverance by your actions of obedience. You do your part to hear and obey and we will come in glory and settle upon you, your homes, and your families. Be vigilant, be excited warriors for light and truth.

Today’s Written Word

2 Corinthians 2:14 ESV But thanks be to God, who in Christ always leads us in triumphal procession, and through us spreads the fragrance of the knowledge of him everywhere. 15 For we are the aroma of Christ to God among those who are being saved and among those who are perishing, 16 to one a fragrance from death to death, to the other a fragrance from life to life. Who is sufficient for these things? 17 For we are not, like so many, peddlers of God’s word, but as men of sincerity, as commissioned by God, in the sight of God we speak in Christ.

Ezekiel 36:16-19 DBY 16 And the word of Jehovah came unto me, saying, 17 Son of man, when the house of Israel dwelt in their own land, they defiled it by their way and by their doings: their way was before me as the uncleanness of a woman in her separation. 18 And I poured out my fury upon them for the blood that they had shed upon the land, and because they had defiled it with their idols. 19 And I scattered them among the nations, and they were dispersed through the countries: according to their way and according to their doings I judged them.

Jeremiah 38:20 Jeremiah said, “You shall not be given to them. Obey now the voice of the Lord in what I say to you, and it shall be well with you, and your life shall be spared.

A Word of Encouragement

Jesus Christ is preparing us spiritually and emotionally to stand strong and speak for him in the times of darkness that will be of great distress to the unbelievers. The Lord Jesus wants us to actually practice hearing him and he instructs us to practice each day and throughout the day. (I would have been a much better trumpet player if I had practiced like that.) This is the time of final training before the storms begin. It is very encouraging that we will weather the storms and, as we hear and obey, we will remain happy and healthy as we enjoy the grace and mercy of God like a butterscotch blanket. Great mind picture!

An Action Item

We need to be determined in our practicing and learning to hear and obey our Father God and Lord Jesus Christ. Hearing and obeying are repeatedly stressed in the prophecy from Jesus Christ today. He made this very clear saying, “Obey all He (God) speaks to you and all He inspires through me. Multiply your deliverance by your actions of obedience”. How can we practice hearing? By spending time daily, even several times daily, still and quiet in prayer and listening in our spirit for the clear thoughts and impressions that our Father and our Lord promise to lead us by. Obeying God’s will is essential during difficult and trying times.

Victories and Blessings

We prayed with a faithful Christian today, one who is asking for us to believe together for deliverance for their loved one. Standing together in prayer is very powerful indeed! We know God is all love and always ready to deliver all who will turn to him through Christ. Pray for those you love to turn to Christ and release God’s mighty power!

Please share some of your victories, blessings and prayer requests so others can rejoice and believe with you.
