Today’s Living Word – Commune with Me

4–6 minutes

Christ our Lord speaks prophecy to all:

What does it mean to receive communion? Or what is the meaning of communing with me? You have been birthed of God by accepting me. You trusted in me for your eternal life and now you come with new hurts and old ones and you are seeking the physical deliverance that was promised. You are already healed as you are already set free from sin. It is your legal decree. You have been found righteous because I am righteous. You are justified for I paid for your sin. Just as you claim those legal rights in my name, you can claim full physical restoration in my name.

It is all the same. The sin allows the devil to gain access to your lives, minds, and bodies. That sin creeps into your flesh and settles- unless you cast it out. If it remains and becomes a habit, you must uproot it. I am a miraculous savior. When I do miracles in you, they are complete. They are instantaneous and they are gifted from our Father above. No struggling nor striving is required. It is a gift.

When you go to a surgeon for a physical procedure, you are trusting that he will do his job well. You submit to his expertise and you lay down willingly and invite him to do his work. You do not “help” him. Your only job is to show up and be available, to sign the permission slip and expect he will do his job well.

I am the Messiah, your personal savior who saves and makes you whole every day. Your communion service is designed to remind you that I have done all, and am still your perfect physician. Every day you are tempted to sin and you stand against it. Every day you choose to walk in me and claim your freedom from sin and sickness, you are laying down your lives at my feet. Lay down your lives, lay down your failures, lay down your broken bodies, and trust me to restore you- to heal you, to flow through you with my living waters. You are being refreshed and I will be your complete savior today.

Today’s Written Word

Communion: koinōnia = G2842: fellowship,

I Corinthians 10:16 The cup of blessing which we bless, is it not the communion of the blood of Christ? The bread which we break, is it not the communion of the body of Christ?

I Corinthians 11:28,29

But let a man examine himself (Prove genuine), and so let him eat of that bread, and drink of that cup.

For he that eateth  and drinketh unworthily (doubting the Lord’s completed work), eateth and drinketh damnation (to be judged guilty by the law ) to himself, not discerning (discriminating or understanding) the Lord’s body (the body of Christ).

II Corinthians 6:14 Be ye not unequally yoked together with unbelievers: for what fellowship hath righteousness with unrighteousness? and what communion hath light with darkness?

II Corinthians 13:14 The grace of the Lord Jesus Christ, and the love of God, and the communion of the Holy Ghost, be with you all. Amen.

II Corinthians 1:10 Who delivered us from so great a death, and doth deliver: in whom we trust that he will yet deliver us;

I John 3:16 Hereby perceive we the love of God, because he laid down his life for us: and we ought to lay down our lives for the brethren.

A Word of Encouragement

Our Lord Jesus Christ is our complete savior. Our communing with him happens every day. He explains that the communion we take is a reminder that he has done all and is our complete savior. The example of going to a surgeon and not “helping” is kind of funny. We often feel like it is our responsibility to be very focused, or very spiritually tuned in, or that we are prayed up or forgiven in order to receive the blessings of communion, or of healing and restoration. Nothing could be further from the truth. Jesus Christ did it all for us. We lay down our burdens, broken bodies and failures at his feet and he does the healing, restoring and mending.

An Action Item

Let’s receive communion this year in peace and celebration of the completed work of our savior. He paid all, by his stripes we were healed. He has set us free from sin, by the shedding of his blood we are redeemed. Let’s claim the promises of God and live in health and freedom, for Christ is our complete savior every day.
