Christ speaks prophecy to his church of the faithful:

What is an event? Is it one you have put on your calendar and are excitedly awaiting? Perhaps a wedding or some big family reunion? There is a great day of celebration coming my brethren, one that those in our family and all the heavenly host have been awaiting for many thousands of years. It is close now. It is my return to gather together all those who love God and all those who yearn to be united with me face to face.

This will be the greatest of all celebrations my beloved brethren, You will not need to choose a gown nor a suit, for the finest linens And the most ornate of fabrics have been chosen for each of you to wear. There will be music to delight your senses that will move you to tears and laughter at the same time.

Love will be flowing from the throne of our father God and He will be the master of the ceremony. He has great gifts and heavenly treasures prepared for each of you, things of beauty that you have never beheld before, things made and fashioned with great care just for each of you, that will delight your souls for all of eternity. Have you considered what He might have waiting for you? Have you dreamed of the streets of glass that shimmer as gold? Have you thought about the strength and physical freedom you will enjoy when gravity no longer wears upon your frame?

We have many surprises for you my brethren, many plans laid up and many years of celebration will be required to reward you who are faithful. More joy than you can imagine, higher thrills than you have ever experienced, the most vibrant colors and beauty you have ever seen, more glorious than the most dynamic sunrise ever photographed. The waters sing to Him, and the trees hum in the background. Life pours forth from every surface of every building and rock. And the food, oh the delicacies you will enjoy! They are beyond your greatest expectations.

Come to me my brothers and sisters, and listen to the Words of truth that I am speaking. Listen to the future that is coming soon. It is not a fantasy, nor a dream, but your dreams will be coming true. Dreams of peace and rest. Dreams of provision and every care vanishing away. It is not for the fake Christians, but the true. It is not a will be, but a what is. It is what has been prepared and is awaiting your arrival, for heaven sees and knows what is true. The light now shines, and the trumpets are ready to be blown.

Come to me now, ask of your future, and prepare to come home. Your real home, your for ever home, where you are invited, anticipated, and eagerly awaited.

I am coming for my church. Remember my beloved, for I have promised to return and gather you up.

Now we beseech you, brethren, by the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ, and by our gathering together unto him,

That ye be not soon shaken in mind, or be troubled, neither by spirit, nor by word, nor by letter as from us, as that the day of Christ is at hand.

I Corinthians 9:17 For if I do this thing willingly, I have a reward: but if against my will, a dispensation of the gospel is committed unto me.

Jeremiah 15:16 Thy words were found, and I did eat them; and thy word was unto me the joy and rejoicing of mine heart: for I am called by thy name, O LORD God of hosts.

I Corinthians 4:5 Therefore judge nothing before the time, until the Lord come, who both will bring to light the hidden things of darkness, and will make manifest the counsels of the hearts: and then shall every man have praise of God.

Galatians 5:1 Stand fast therefore in the liberty wherewith Christ hath made us free, and be not entangled again with the yoke of bondage.

A Word of Encouragement

What an inspiring prophecy from our Lord Jesus Christ! He said the time is near, and we know that could be any time, tomorrow or a hundred years from now, so let’s stand strong in faith, and not start packing any bags. We are here to rule and reign until we go home. The hope is indeed our anchor and motivation, in many challenges, to continue doing the Word and will of God. We are not of the group of believers that are awaiting a big rescue, to exit stage right. We have dominion and are working with our Lord to establish this new era (which may last a few years). We are not afraid of the coming difficulties, for we are resting in the care and understanding that our mighty God will continue to provide all we need in supplies, safety, information, wisdom and guidance. We are BELIEVERS! We are blessed, healed, and on the increase.

An Action Item

Christ mentions the joys and beauty that await the true Christian. Let’s spend some time in prayer today, being thankful for the ability to be near our God and near our Lord Jesus Christ. We can continue in sharing the good news of salvation by faith, and we can certainly continue in maturing in our walk in holy spirit until we head home. Let’s occupy until we fly!
