Our Father speaks to those who seek God:

What is a God? Is it a powerful being that takes control of the universe? Yes. I am in control of every planet you see, and the millions you cannot. What would a benevolent God do when His people, the creation of His hands, try to manage and manipulate the very life they were given by the Creator? He would gently nudge them, then rock them a bit to get their attention. But what if that did not awaken those going the wrong direction? What would a loving father do?

He would shout and alarm them. He would shake them and rattle them until they woke up. The time has come for a great shaking and a very great awakening. It sounds unbelievable to you because you cannot imagine a power so great that it could shake a planet. I am more powerful than you know and soon you will not have to imagine, only look and see.

You will see the seas rise up and attack the earth. You will witness the stars above you shift and fall. You will feel the heat of your sun come and go. For the earth is about to shake and move. It will be out of step. You might say, “off kilter”. I say this, not to bring fear but to alert my faithful of the coming shift. Stand strong and anchor yourselves in me. Seek the words of old the prophets have spoken.

Hebrews 6:17-20 Wherein God, willing more abundantly to shew unto the heirs of promise the immutability of his counsel, confirmed it by an oath: That by two immutable things, in which it was impossible for God to lie, we might have a strong consolation, who have fled for refuge to lay hold upon the hope set before us: Which hope we have as an anchor of the soul, both sure and stedfast, and which entereth into that within the veil; 20 Whither the forerunner is for us entered, even Jesus, made an high priest for ever after the order of Melchisedec.

A Word of Encouragement

How tender and benevolent is God toward us His children. While His power is greater than the universe He created, God cares for people and would only gently nudge us to get our attention, and get headed back in the right direction. We would do best to be humble to God and turn our headstrong ways back to His best way quickly. That would be so much more gentle than God needing to shake the whole planet to wake up the disobedient manipulators. His assurance and encouragement to the obedient and faithful is to be, “alert my faithful of the coming shift. Stand strong and anchor yourselves in me”. FEAR NOT! For we are safe.

An Action Item

Again, God says, “Stand strong and anchor yourselves in me”. He also said, “Seek the words of old the prophets have spoken”. We should not overlook the prophecies of the Old Testament prophets such as Isaiah, Ezekiel, and Daniel, who spoke of yet future times and events as did also Jesus Christ, and the Apostle John in Revelation. Although we live in the most modern and technologically advanced time in human history, God is still in control of the universe and our planet Earth. Let’s do our best to be informed of what God says will be, for as God said, IT WILL BE!
