Today’s Living Word – Turn to God

4–6 minutes

God speaks prophecy to all who will turn.

Turning is easy. You see a thing that interests you, and you turn to see. If just for a look, you turn your head. If it is really wonderful, your whole body turns and moves quickly. I am about to do a sign and a wonder that will turn the entire body of Christ. It will explode above you in shades of shimmering light and color, and you will see my glory. All you have ever known will become a thing of the past. Life and liberty will be your cry, and none will work for money, but only for survival.

Can you imagine a day filled with joy and worship? I am giving each of you the opportunity to turn off all that distracts and turn to me; an opportunity to repent of any error or slothfulness, and to harmonize yourselves in mind and body and will with me your God. It is not too late even now. I call unto you, and all sinners to repent. Repent and I will forgive. None are clean, all have fallen short. Sit in sackcloth before me and request of me. I will forgive.

Do turn my beloved. Come now and lean your weary heads upon my chest and rely upon your mighty Father in this hour of trouble. Come for refuge, yes, but also for my love and care. Many of you are troubled by many cares. Care not for the things of the world, but only for the things of God. Turn toward me and look for answers. Turn to see the goodness I have stored up to pour upon you in these last days. Turn into my way of holiness where peace and joy dwell. Turn away from all evil men and stand not in their ways of hardship and horror. Know me and my voice in these last days by seeking me daily and diligently for I am the God of plenty, the all knowing God who has prepared for you a glorious end. Turn to me, turn now, turn to see your salvation, for the time has come.

Today’s Written Word

Daniel 4:1-3  (Thus spoke the king after Daniel’s friends survived the furnace)  Nebuchadnezzar the king, unto all people, nations, and languages, that dwell in all the earth; Peace be multiplied unto you. I thought it good to shew the signs and wonders that the high God hath wrought toward me. How great are his signs! and how mighty are his wonders! his kingdom is an everlasting kingdom, and his dominion is from generation to generation.

Jonah 3:4-9  4 And Jonah began to enter into the city a day’s journey, and he cried, and said, Yet forty days, and Nineveh shall be overthrown. 5 So the people of Nineveh believed God, and proclaimed a fast, and put on sackcloth, from the greatest of them even to the least of them. 6 For word came unto the king of Nineveh, and he arose from his throne, and he laid his robe from him, and covered him with sackcloth, and sat in ashes. 7 And he caused it to be proclaimed and published through Nineveh by the decree of the king and his nobles, saying, Let neither man nor beast, herd nor flock, taste any thing: let them not feed, nor drink water: 8 But let man and beast be covered with sackcloth, and cry mightily unto God: yea, let them turn every one from his evil way, and from the violence that is in their hands. 9 Who can tell if God will turn and repent, and turn away from his fierce anger, that we perish not?

Isaiah 35:8-10  8 And an highway shall be there, and a way, and it shall be called The way of holiness; the unclean shall not pass over it; but it shall be for those: the wayfaring men, though fools, shall not err therein. 9 No lion shall be there, nor any ravenous beast shall go up thereon, it shall not be found there; but the redeemed shall walk there: 10 And the ransomed of the Lord shall return, and come to Zion with songs and everlasting joy upon their heads: they shall obtain joy and gladness, and sorrow and sighing shall flee away.

A Word of Encouragement

Our Father continues to warn us of the things to come. He says it is easy to turn toward the light. He gives us time to come to Him without distractions, and worship Him for His goodness, protection, and life sustaining words. He reminds us that all fall short and all have sinned. Praying in the spirit is praise and worship to God. We can choose to turn off the distractions and turn to Him. As we ask Him to forgive our trespasses, He will reveal area where we need to turn to Him. Praise Him.

An Action Item

God says to turn toward Him for refuge, love and care. He provides comfort and answers, in our times of trouble. He gives abundance in these end times. We are told to turn to Him and walk in His ways of holiness and receive peace and joy. This is the time to listen and to know His voice, to be led to His peace and safety.
