God speaks prophetic warnings to us for peace and shelter:

And what of the next day, when the sun returns? What will you do then? Rejoice that you are alive! Step forward in loving service to help rebuild. Survey your homes for what is needed and begin to clean up. What happens when a war begins? There is much disbelief and shock. Many are held in a state of fear and cannot move forward. Many will try to run from the danger and hide elsewhere. But this is not a war of people and far away news that can be ignored. It will be upfront and personal and none shall escape. For “I HAVE DECLARED WAR UPON ALL NATIONS AND MY JUDGEMENT HAS COME.”

This is the hour of correction to bring men to their knees in repentance. It will be a national and international day of prayer. My prophets will proclaim my will, and they will be the only voices sought in the turmoil. Pray for their ears to hear a word in the night and to bring you peace in the day. Come to the mountain top and listen to their speech to utter my healing balm over your tired hands and repentant hearts. Be healed of all thy diseases by those who believe me in the face of destruction, and find grace in time of your need.

This is a true vision of the days to come. The long night will creep in slowly and settle upon your land claiming one town and city as it goes. One farm will go from light to dark and then one street and one more town. The light will fade from the earth as a setting sun, and then the darkness will stay. You who know of this coming season have heard me and prepared, but for those who have not, they will suffer destruction.

Who will see a storm approaching and will not gather their children inside? Be in me now my beloved. Be sheltered from this great and terrible storm. Hide yourselves away from harm and chaos and do not participate. What you have inside your homes will have to be sufficient until I release you to go out. The only “must have” you must have, is my peace and understanding. Get understanding now- for the darkness comes, and I will be your only light.

Jeremiah 26:13 Therefore now amend your ways and your doings, and obey the voice of the LORD your God; and the LORD will repent him of the evil that he hath pronounced against you.

Repent, nāḥam, Hebrew 5162: properly, to sigh, i.e. breathe strongly; by implication, to be sorry, i.e. (in a favorable sense) to pity, console

Matthew 3:8 NLT Prove by the way you live that you have repented of your sins and turned to God.

Repented, metanoia, Greek 3341: compunction (remorse) for guilt, leading to and including reformation

Psalm 61:1-3 Hear my cry, O God; attend unto my prayer. From the end of the earth will I cry unto thee, when my heart is overwhelmed: lead me to the rock that is higher than I. For thou hast been a shelter for me, and a strong tower from the enemy.

Shelter, maḥăsê, Hebrew 4268, a shelter (literally or figuratively), a refuge from storm or danger.

A Word of Encouragement

God or Father loves us and gives us assurances and encouragements alongside the ominous words about darkness, danger, destruction, war, and judgement. There will be, “correction to bring men to their knees in repentance”. Father tells us to hide ourselves away from harm and chaos, and to not participate in it. The judgment and correction is not for those who are God’s children and who are listening to and trusting in Him. We are to shelter in, and trust God for peace.

An Action Item

God’s prophecy gives us clear action items – get understanding now. How do we get understanding? We read God’s written Word, we pray in faith, we listen to prophetic messages and check them against the Word, then we believe – do what God our Father, and also our Lord Jesus Christ have instruct us to do. Trust and obey, there is no better way.
