Today’s Living Word – Peace in the Darkness

5–7 minutes

God speaks prophecy to all. (Received on 3-13-24)

What will you do when the sun goes dark? Do you have a plan? Will you finally get a day of rest, or will panic and distress be your response? The world will not be at peace. I have warned of the coming tribulations many times and in many books and letters written to you who live today in the darkest of all times. This is the only way to clean up the messes made by evil men doing evil upon my earth. Who will save you from such destruction? My Son. He has done the saving already, and he continues to offer his salvation every day to all mankind. Turn to him.

Be at peace in these days of darkness my beloved children. Rest your eyes upon my words and hold fast to me. Speak them aloud to rebuke the fear that will blanket the earth. Wailing and gnashing of teeth will be heard. Close your eyes and ears to the evil upon your screens and in your streets. Use the time to reflect upon my goodness and all I have done to prepare you for such a time as this. What about your lives, and how you spend your days? Are you being led by me and going forth each day to do my will or your own? Or perhaps that of the company you work for, or the government? Each day is precious to me, and each day of life upon this earth is an opportunity to ask for my direction, and to obey.

Come to me, my children. Lay your heads upon my chest, and relax into my loving arms. Let me care for you as I long to do. Refuse to race with the rats. Refuse to run toward the cycles and schedules of the earth. Do not be pushed into serving men, but only me. Be brave to do as I say and hear me lead you each day. Rise and shine for a new day has come, one that is filled with my love, peace and goodness. Trust me, for I know what tomorrow holds, and only I can direct your path to victory. Be at peace with me and peace will reign in you. Connect to me, your life source, and my peace shall flow over you in rivers of refreshing. Pray for peace, set your minds to expect it and your hearts will be filled with it. Sing songs in the darkness of praise and celebration for a new day has come.

Today’s Written Word

Matthew 24:21-25  For then shall be great tribulation, such as was not since the beginning of the world to this time, no, nor ever shall be. And except those days should be shortened, there should no flesh be saved: but for the elect’s sake those days shall be shortened. Then if any man shall say unto you, Lo, here is Christ, or there; believe it not.  For there shall arise false Christs, and false prophets, and shall shew great signs and wonders; insomuch that, if it were possible, they shall deceive the very elect. Behold, I have told you before.

Tribulation, thlipsis, Greek 2347; pressure (literally or figuratively); oppression, affliction, tribulation, distress

2 Timothy 3:12-15  Yea, and all that will live godly in Christ Jesus shall suffer persecution. But evil men and seducers shall wax worse and worse, deceiving, and being deceived. But continue thou in the things which thou hast learned and hast been assured of, knowing of whom thou hast learned them; And that from a child thou hast known the holy scriptures, which are able to make thee wise unto salvation through faith which is in Christ Jesus.

Evil, ponēros, G4190, evil, wicked, bad

Seducers, goes, G1114; a wizard – a deceiver, impostor

2 Chronicles 32:7,8a  Be strong and courageous, be not afraid nor dismayed for the king of Assyria, nor for all the multitude that is with him: for there be more with us than with him: With him is an arm of flesh; but with us is the LORD our God to help us, and to fight our battles.

Courageous, ‘āmēṣ, Hebrew 553; to be alert, physically (on foot) or mentally (in courage)

A Word of Encouragement

Our Father God clearly wants us aware of the dark and evil times we live in and that there is much tribulation – pressure, oppression, affliction, distress – coming and we must trust God in our mental, emotional and physical preparations for those days. More importantly though, is to receive spiritual salvation through the Son of God, Jesus Christ, who has already done the saving work. People just need to read and hear the Scriptures until they believe that God raised Jesus Christ from death, and then truly confess Jesus Christ as Lord of their life. God does the rest at that point; He creates spirit within and people are spiritually born- born again eternally. Then we can “relax into” His loving arms and He will care for us.

An Action Item

The entire third paragraph of God’s prophetic word to us today is filled with action items to have the peace of God reigning in our lives. He tells us to refuse to be pushed into serving men but to trust God and let Him direct our lives. We need to be brave, stay connected to God, be obedient to His leading and He will direct our paths into victory.  Let’s trust God, for He alone knows what tomorrow holds.  Choose a powerful verse that encourages you and carry it with you all day until it becomes your truth.

Victories and Blessings

A great couple of victories for Living Word this week. We are joyfully announcing the premier of “God’s Living Word” Biblical studies class segments four, five and six will be released soon! You may join us in person this Sunday, March 17th, or view them online soon. We have also completed our new logo for Living Word as you have probably noticed :). The large LW initials represent harmony and unity in God’s family, and soaring high like eagles. The flowing waters are representative of the holy spirit gift, the new birth in Christ which flows in us day by day. The green plant symbolizes our growth in understanding in application of the scriptures. All these work together encircled by God’s love. We love each of you, and are thankful to God for your lives!
